Saim Marine expands Exilator distribution: new agreement for France and overseas territories
Saim Marine is extending its presence in the field of exhaust gas treatment systems thanks to a new agreement with Exilator, which has appointed the company as distributor of its particulate filters in France and the French overseas territories (DROM-COM). The decision by the Danish manufacturer—active in purification solutions with integrated silencer, filter and catalyst—follows the results achieved by Saim Marine in the Italian market and the company’s long-standing experience with French shipyards and service centres.
The marine division of Saim Group thus continues its international growth, strengthening its cooperation with Exilator, already a partner for the distribution in Italy of emission-reduction systems. The new mandate expands the commercial scope to the French market and overseas collectivities, in continuity with the work carried out over the years alongside shipyards, service centres and professional operators.
The Exilator range consists of complete systems integrating silencer, filter and catalyst, designed to reduce particulate emissions and noise, with applications spanning from yachting to commercial vessels. The expansion of distribution enables Saim Marine to reinforce its role in supplying technologies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of leisure craft.
“We are honoured to promote this product range,” said Marco Donà, CEO of Saim. “We share the same strategy as Exilator: both companies are committed to advancing sustainability within the yachting industry. This decision strengthens our cooperation, and we are confident that our experience in the French market will allow us to support the brand’s growth effectively.”
A similar view is expressed by Jesper Steenbuch, CEO and partner of Exilator: “We decided to expand our collaboration with Saim Marine in light of the excellent results achieved in such a short time. We are convinced that this step will contribute to building an even stronger and long-lasting partnership.”
