Azimut Benetti still at the top of the world: 26 years as superyacht market leader
For the twenty-sixth year in a row, Azimut Benetti ranks first worldwide in megayacht production, leading Boat International’s Global Order Book, the benchmark ranking that tracks international builds over 24 metres. In 2025, this leadership translates into 163 yachts under construction, totalling 5,924 metres and 23% of the global market considered by the report, reinforcing the Group’s role as an ambassador of Italian excellence in high-end yachting.
The Global Order Book results reflect the positive performance of the fiscal year closed on August 31, 2025, with €1.5 billion in revenues and an orderbook extending through 2029 — indicators that confirm the robustness of a resilient industrial model grounded in family continuity and a constant ability to anticipate market trends.
One of the most significant of these trends concerns the evolution of today’s yacht owner, who seeks less complexity, more immediacy, greater freedom of use and an increasingly seamless onboard experience. This is the context in which the Azimut|Benetti Group Service Division was created, a new service hub entrusted to Massimiliano Casoni and built upon the visionary intuition of Paolo Vitelli, who already in the 2000s identified services as the next strategic frontier of yachting.

The acquisition of the Lusben refit yard (2000), the establishment of the Yachtique styling lounge (2008) and the development of premium Marinas are the pillars of that vision, now evolved into an integrated platform of owner-focused solutions. The Division is structured around three key areas, part of a roadmap extending to 2028:
Asset Value Protection – A high-value programme combining preventive maintenance, predictive systems also based on AI, and extended warranty solutions. Objective: predictable management costs, constant performance and preservation of residual value.
Crew Management – A comprehensive service including crew selection, continuous training through Crew Academy and operational coordination. A decisive element for yachts characterised by advanced construction and technological solutions.
Owner Experience – The stylistic and curatorial universe of Yachtique, an atelier dedicated to selecting furnishings, materials, artworks and Italian craftsmanship, complemented by global concierge services and Owners Club activities.
The establishment of the Service Division marks a paradigm shift: from the yacht as a product to the yacht as an experience, with a modular, personalised usage model designed to guarantee peace of mind — the new intangible measure of contemporary luxury.
