CMC Marine has signed an agreement with Navico, the group that controls the Simrad, Lowrance and B&G brands, for the integration of its systems with the group's electronic instrumentation. Navico is among the leading global manufacturers of marine electronics.

The agreement is part of the Italian company's technology integration strategy, which has already established collaborations with Furuno, Raymarine and Garmin. The objective is to provide an interconnected service ecosystem for captains and crews.

"The objective of CMC Marine is to improve the experience and safety on board yachts and superyachts, while at the same time making our products increasingly intuitive and integrated with onboard systems," said Pietro Cappiello, Vice President of CMC Marine. "The collaboration with Navico for integration with its MFDs fits into this vision: to offer customers, crews and owners even more efficient navigation, in the name of continuous innovation at the service of yachting."

Integration functionality
Through the DALI interface (Display, Assistance, Logging Interface), CMC Marine's stabilization and control systems can communicate with Navico's multifunction displays (MFDs).

Compatibility includes Simrad NSO evo, NSS evo, NSX and IDS models; B&G ZeuS3/3S, Zeus S and Vulcan models; Lowrance HDS Pro, HDS Live, HDS Carbon and Elite FS models.

The integration enables real-time monitoring and management of fin movements and performance, setting of operating modes and parameters, as well as display of detailed information and alarm notifications.
