Lighting systems on board Invictus Yacht TT460
Quick Group and Invictus Yacht: over ten years of technical collaboration behind the TT550 and ST550 flagships
The collaboration between Quick Group and Invictus Yacht spans more than a decade and predates the Invictus brand itself, which was founded in 2014. Today the relationship is most visible in the integrated equipment fitted aboard the yard's two flagships, the TT550 and ST550, both 16.87 metres long and presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025.
The two models follow different design philosophies: the ST550 prioritises interior space and comfort, while the TT550 is geared toward outdoor living. Both carry Quick Group components across a wide range of onboard systems: a tender recovery winch, a Sanguineti mooring system (a Group brand), LED lighting solutions for hard tops and interiors, and boilers. The ST550 also integrates Quick Group's gyroscopic stabiliser, recently updated for improved performance in a smaller footprint and now covered by a four-year warranty.
"We started working with the yard before the Invictus Yacht brand even existed, in 2014," says Alessandro Fiorentini, Key Account Manager at Quick Group. "From the start we worked alongside the team, building the relationship and tackling the first challenges together. It began with key products like winches and battery chargers, and then gradually expanded to lighting systems, including underwater lighting, boilers, and eventually extended to other brands within the Group."
The relationship goes beyond catalogue supply. Quick Group develops custom OEM solutions while maintaining direct contact with the yard's technical office, purchasing and production departments. "We are not just a supplier, we are a real partner," explains Stefano Tinti, OEM Sales Director at Quick Group.
Domenico Vitaliano, Quality Control Manager at Invictus Yacht, confirms this: "The Quick Group catalogue is extensive and offers a wide range of products for recreational boating, from lighting solutions to steering and manoeuvring systems. The proposed solutions are often appealing because they are complete in every respect, allowing installation while preserving the builder's originality."
Vitaliano cites the joint development of an RGBW light management system as an example, one that reduced the time needed to install onboard lighting. "This know-how, beyond the clear advantages in terms of saving materials and resources, is also an innovation that Quick Group will be able to offer to the wider marine market."

On installation times, Fiorentini provides a concrete figure: "Innovation in lighting and wiring, thanks to new technologies and the development of plug connectors that allow faster installation and maintenance, has solved a real problem: what used to require eight hours of work for two people can now be completed in one hour."
"For us, Invictus shares our same philosophy when it comes to quality standards and the commitment of the people involved, because there too you find passionate people," says Tinti. "That quality is reflected all the way to the end user, and this matters, because the owner's onboard experience is the main element that both yard and suppliers must keep in mind."
Looking ahead, Quick Group is integrating its bow thrusters with third-party technologies such as Volvo Penta's Assisted Docking system and Mercury Marine's Joystick Piloting system. The offering also extends to hatches and pantograph doors.

"Most innovations are driven by the end client, and having a direct link to the yard means receiving exactly what the client wants," says Fiorentini. "The person going boating today is not the same as twenty years ago, and the next generations will experience boating differently still. Our direct relationship with the yard and its end clients allows us to evolve with them."
"The two brands, Quick Group and Invictus Yacht, work very well together in developing design solutions to achieve the right balance between quality and aesthetics," confirms Vitaliano. "A yard's reputation grows over time through client feedback on support and product quality. Thanks to the extensive distribution and service network guaranteed by this partnership, interventions are often prompt, restoring product functionality and reinforcing the client's confidence in their purchase."
