Amor à Vida, CRN
Amor à Vida, the Superyacht That Embodies CRN’s Vision
Following its international debut and its recent recognition at the Robb Report Best of the Best Awards 2026, Amor à Vida continues to stand out as one of the most representative examples of CRN’s full-custom production. We spoke with Vittorio Blengini, Sales Director Custom Business at Ferretti Group, to gain further insight into the design and technological choices that define the yacht’s identity, while also looking ahead to the future of the Ancona-based shipyard.
PressMare – Beyond its propulsion system, in what ways does Amor à Vida differ significantly from other CRN yachts, and in what respects does it retain the shipyard’s characteristic “family feeling”?
Vittorio Blengini – Like every CRN superyacht, CRN M/Y AMOR À VIDA was conceived to enable the owner to express a personal vision. Even its name, Amor à Vida (“Love for Life” in Portuguese), reflects the owner’s philosophy and approach to enjoying life at sea. The yacht’s guiding concept is conviviality, expressed through a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces, designed to welcome guests in generous, functional and refined environments where sophisticated design and outstanding comfort coexist in perfect balance.

From a technical perspective, AMOR À VIDA is an advanced technological platform that enriches CRN’s expertise while contributing to the development of solutions for future projects. The owner’s vision also shaped the yacht’s technological choices, including the innovative heat recovery system, which significantly reduces energy consumption and operating costs, particularly while at anchor.
PM – What are the most significant and innovative aspects of the yacht’s naval architecture and engineering? How was the work divided between CRN’s in-house team and Nuvolari Lenard?
VB – From the very beginning, the owner was involved in every stage of the project, working alongside CRN and the Italian yacht design studio Nuvolari Lenard, which developed both the exterior and interior design, with the interiors created in collaboration with Valentina Zannier, Interior Art Director at Nuvolari Lenard.

The superyacht is the result of CRN’s expertise in bespoke yacht design and construction quality. The naval architecture was developed by the CRN Engineering team together with the Ferretti Group Superyacht Division. Brokerage house Moran Yacht & Ship played a key role as the owner’s representative, overseeing project management throughout the entire construction process.
The owner envisioned a yacht centred on generous living spaces. That vision guided CRN from the earliest design stages, shaping every aspect of the yacht and ultimately defining the success of the platform.
PM – What was the owner’s most challenging request to fulfil?
VB – The owner of AMOR À VIDA approached the project from a unique perspective. For him and his family, the beach club had to become the beating heart of the yacht. This vision guided the engineering team, which developed the entire layout around this area, identifying innovative and highly refined technical solutions to achieve the highest standards of functionality and quality.

A particularly noteworthy feature is the gym, which was carefully engineered to include a lowered floor section, providing additional headroom for the safe use of fitness equipment.
Another distinctive element is the innovative stern door, unique on a yacht of this size. It retracts completely beneath the structural swim platform, disappearing from view and minimising both its visual and spatial impact. The system consists of a double mechanism that enhances both the aesthetics and functionality of the area.
PM – What feedback did Amor à Vida receive at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, where she was exhibited?
VB – The Palm Beach International Boat Show provided an excellent opportunity to engage with the market, confirming the strong interest in CRN and its fully bespoke approach to superyacht construction, of which Amor à Vida is an outstanding example.

The United States has always been a strategic market for CRN and remains one of the most important regions for large custom yachts. For this reason, Palm Beach was particularly significant. During the show we welcomed a high number of qualified prospects, brokers and international media, leading to numerous meetings that have already evolved into negotiations still underway today.
In addition, Amor à Vida’s availability for charter during selected periods of the year generated further interest, allowing a select audience to experience this unique project first-hand.
PM – The yacht recently received the Robb Report Best of the Best 2026 award in the yachting category. What were the reasons behind this recognition?
VB – The Robb Report Best of the Best award represents far more than recognition for a single yacht. It celebrates the culture of excellence that the historic Ancona-based shipyard has developed over many years.

CRN embodies everything we have learned as a company about design, engineering, innovation, craftsmanship and the art of creating unforgettable experiences at sea. AMOR À VIDA impressed the jury with its elegant naval architecture, sophisticated exterior styling, exceptional craftsmanship and fully customised interiors, setting new benchmarks in creativity, innovation and bespoke luxury.
PM – What are the company’s plans for the second half of the year, starting with the Monaco Yacht Show? Can you give us any preview?
VB – CRN has always been at the forefront of the yachting industry, introducing functional and aesthetic solutions that have become international benchmarks.

Looking ahead, we are preparing for the delivery of CRN M/Y 145 Project Thunderball, a 70-metre superyacht featuring naval architecture by CRN Engineering in collaboration with Vripack, which designed the exterior lines, while Nauta Design developed the interiors and outdoor furnishings.
At the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, two additional CRN full-custom superyachts in steel and aluminium are currently under construction.
The first is CRN M/Y 144, an 86-metre yacht with naval architecture developed by CRN Engineering and exterior design created in collaboration with Vallicelli Design. Her launch is scheduled for 2026.

The second is CRN M/Y Project 146, a 67-metre yacht whose naval architecture has been developed by CRN Engineering, while both the exterior and interior design have been entrusted to Nuvolari Lenard. The yacht features a hybrid propulsion system and is scheduled for launch in 2027.
