Saim Marine will exhibit at four international boat shows this autumn: SMM in Hamburg (Hall B3 OG, stand 317), the Cannes Yachting Festival (stand PAN 202), the Monaco Yacht Show (DS40, Darse Sud) and the Genoa International Boat Show (stand YP85).
The main novelty is the debut of Avikus, a Korean manufacturer of autonomous navigation systems for which Saim Marine holds exclusive distribution rights in Italy. Neuboat systems combine LiDAR sensors, artificial intelligence and 360-degree vision, and are designed for navigation in unfamiliar waters, plotting complex routes and berthing in crowded marinas. Demonstrations of Neuboat Dock II, Neuboat Navi and Neuboat Control are scheduled during the events.
The second focus is TotalUpgrade, an initiative developed with ZF for owners and captains who want to update onboard control systems. The programme replaces earlier-generation controls, including units from other manufacturers, with the ZF TotalCommand platform for integrated propulsion and manoeuvring management. The company expects the upgrade to deliver greater accuracy when berthing and a lighter workload for the crew.
At the four events SAIM Marine will also show recent products from the brands it distributes, covering propulsion and control systems, components and automation, with attention to digital integration and artificial intelligence. The solutions on display apply to both new builds and refits.
Brands represented at the shows are ABT-TRACK, AnchorGuardian, Avikus, Bonomi (Joy), Centek Industries, Data, Delta "T" System, Dynamica, Exalto, Exilator, Glendinning, Hydromaster, Parker Racor, QS Seamaster, Rehlko, Seadrive, Sea Recovery, Smartplug, Underwater Lights, Waveless, ZF, Zipwake.
Saim was founded in 1951 as a distributor of automotive and industrial components. Saim Marine, the group's marine division, has more than thirty years of activity in the sector and runs a service network across the Mediterranean coast, the United States, the Gulf states, Hong Kong and Singapore. Since 2022 it has controlled Atlantis Marine Power, the British company distributing Rehlko marine generating sets in the United Kingdom. Saim Spa has held ISO 9001:2015 certification since 2017 and has published a sustainability report based on ESG criteria since 2023.
