Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James has taken its first pole position as the UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF took to the waters in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

 It sets up a fierce battle for tomorrow’s Dubrovnik GP 2025 presented by Adriatic Luxury Hotels.

 Team AlUla pilots Rusty Wyatt and Catie Munnings are celebrating the breakthrough moment competing in their third E1 race, after a day of fierce qualifying set against the stunning backdrop of Dubrovnik’s medieval city. They overcame Team Rafa in second place and AOKI Racing Team in third. 

 The session marked the Championship’s first outing in Croatia for the E1 RaceBird - the series’ pioneering electric raceboat, set against an ancient architecture, the world’s most innovative marine motorsport made its mark on the landscape drawing curious crowds and fans of the sport alike.

 Attending the Dubrovnik Blue Natural Capital Summit, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met with E1 co-founders Alejandro Agag and Rodi Basso. The summit brought together invited global thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore the future of clean marine technologies and sustainable coastal development.

 Presented by E1 and the Croatia Powerboating Club, under the honourable patronage of the Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sport and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, this high-level conference discussed ocean finance and the potential of Blue Natural Capital as a foundation for sustainable economic development in Croatia and the rest of the world, leveraging ocean innovation, blue carbon markets, and eco-tourism to drive growth and resilience.
