Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta 2025, Champions Crowned

The Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta turned the Bay of Palma into an Olympic sailing arena stadium over this past weekend during which the champions of the Spanish Cup in 49er and 49er FX classes were decided.

Race Highlights

After three days of varied conditions, the five participating categories—470 Mixed, 49er, 49er FX, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7—completed exciting races. Unfortunately, the Nacra 17 class did not meet the minimum number of participants.

49er Class

Winners: 🇦🇹 Keanu Prettner & Jakob Flachberger (Austria)
 2nd Place: 🇫🇷 Erwan Fischer & Clément Péquin (France, 2024 World Champions)
 3rd Place: 🇩🇰 Frederick Rask & Jakob Precht (Denmark)

 49er FX Class

 Winners: 🇩🇰 Johanne & Andrea Schmidt (Denmark)
 2nd Place: 🇬🇧 Freya Black & Saskia Tidey (United Kingdom)
 3rd Place: 🇵🇱 Gabriela Czapska & Hanna Rajchert (Poland)

 🇪🇸 Spanish Cup 2025 (Copa de España) 
The Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta also served as the Copa de España 2025 for the 49er, and 49er FX classes.

With the Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta wrapped up, teams now set their sights on the 54th edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofía Mallorca by FERGUS Hotels, happening March 28 – April 5 in the Bay of Palma.
