MIAMI, Florida - Teams racing at the 2022/2023 Bacardi Winter Series and 2023 Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta in Miami, USA will once again be supported with coaching expertise from Quantum Sails.

Launched in 2021, the partnership will support each event with a practice racing day run by Ed Furry of Sail22 and Quantum Sails for the Melges 24 and J/70 fleets, followed up with a post-race online debrief by Quantum Sails' one-design experts.

Quantum also brings you pre-race morning weather briefings, hosted by SailFlow Weather's Shea Gibson along with local knowledge insights from Quantum Sails' one-design experts to kick start everyone's day off fast.

Quantum One Design expert, and the 2022 J/70 Class winner, Travis Odenbach, said, "I am excited to be a part of the Bacardi Winter series again this year. I have been sailing J/70s for the last few years in Miami, and it is the best venue for winter sailing—bring on the warm weather! I am proud to be a part of the event and can't wait to see all the faces in the J/70 and Melges 24 classes I have not seen throughout the summer."

The 2022-2023 Bacardi Winter Series features racing for the J/70 and Melges 24 at event 1 from December 17-18, 2022 and event 2 from January 27-29, 2023. The 2023 Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta kicks off with the Star Class racing for the iconic 96th Bacardi Cup from March 5-11, 2023, and three days of racing for the Melges 24, J/70, VX One, Melges 15, L30 and 69F classes from March 9-11, 2023.
