Tomorrow on the Sardinian regatta field of Puntaldia, increasingly considered a fixed point for the Melges world, the challenge of the second Grand Prix of the 2023 Melges World League will start.

One month after the opening event held in Puntaldia, the Melges 20 and Melges 32 classes are back in action. The second Grand Prix will therefore be the occasion for the first checks on who will be able to confirm and who will want to attempt the climb to the top in the ranking of the two circuits. Eyes obviously on the two winners of the first stage, the Monegasque Matteo Marenghi Vaselli Raya in the Melges 20 and the German Max Augustin's Heat in the Melges 32 who, as a Corinthian team overturned all predictions by going on to win the first success of his career in a very tight challenge up to the last point.

The Marina di Puntaldia as well as hosting venue of the event will also be present in the regatta in the Melges 20 class with its own team which takes the name of "Ajò" and which sees at the helm Marie Helene Polo, one of the main architects of the affirmation of Puntaldia as one of the new reference points for Melges sailing and beyond.

The first start of the three-day regatta program in Puntaldia is set for tomorrow at 13.00
