Vele d’Epoca di Imperia 2025: Presentation of the CIM Volume

Le Vele d’Epoca di Imperia 2025, the historic international event dedicated to classic and vintage sailing, hosts this year a particularly significant occasion: the official presentation of the new promotional volume of the Comité International de la Méditerranée (CIM).
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 4th at 6:00 PM at the Auditorium of the Naval Museum of Imperia and will be moderated by journalist and La Stampa contributor, Fabio Pozzo.
The volume, enriched with extraordinary images by renowned photographer James Robinson Taylor and texts by Francesco Foppiano, tells the story of the CIM universe: a world made of heritage, regattas, events, values, and dedication to preserving authentic seafaring works of art.
Through evocative photographs and texts, the book celebrates the history and mission of the Comité International de la Méditerranée, an international reference point in the promotion and protection of vintage sailing, thus strengthening the bond between CIM and Le Vele d’Epoca di Imperia, which for almost forty years has been one of the key events for Classic Sailing in the Mediterranean.
The presentation will therefore be a special moment not only to discover the activities of the CIM up close, but also to further enhance the vocation of Le Vele d’Epoca di Imperia as a privileged stage for classic sailing.
