AIATA, the boat brand developed by Anadolu Motor and part of the Anadolu Group portfolio, will return to the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 to celebrate a major new chapter in its development: the world premiere of the Wayfinder 50, the enclosed flagship built on the brand’s successful 50-foot platform. Alongside the new model, AIATA will also exhibit the Sunfinder 38, showcasing two complementary interpretations of modern boating and further strengthening its presence at one of the industry’s most important events.

Since making its international debut less than two years ago, AIATA is evolving from a newcomer into an increasingly recognized player in the global boating market. Backed by the industrial expertise and financial strength of Anadolu Group, the company has steadily broadened its product portfolio while establishing an international dealer network and a clear brand identity centered on versatility, comfort and intelligent design.

The arrival of the Wayfinder 50 represents the latest achievement in a carefully planned development program. Following the introduction of the Wayfinder 38, Sunfinder 38 and Sunfinder 50, the new model expands AIATA’s offering and brings the brand closer to its objective of establishing a complete and coherent range within its first three years of operation. Additional developments are already underway, underlining the shipyard’s commitment to long-term, structured growth. With both the Wayfinder 50 and Sunfinder 38 on display in Cannes, visitors will be able to experience firsthand the distinct personalities of the two product families: the open-air lifestyle embodied by the Sunfinder range and the enhanced protection and versatility that define the Wayfinder line.

The Wayfinder 50, also designed by renowned Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén of Navia Design, serves as the enclosed counterpart to the recently launched Sunfinder 50. While sharing the same hull architecture and core platform, the new model is optimized for owners seeking increased protection from the elements, enhanced onboard comfort and greater flexibility for extended cruising. The interior has been designed around two distinct accommodation concepts. The standard layout features two cabins, one bathroom with a separate shower and a galley, creating a balanced arrangement for family cruising and longer stays aboard. For owners prioritizing additional privacy and convenience, an alternative configuration replaces the galley with a second bathroom, resulting in a layout comprising two cabins and two bathrooms, both with separate shower facilities.

Consistent with AIATA’s design philosophy, the Wayfinder 50 combines generous volumes, intelligent space management and practical solutions aimed at simplifying life on board. The result is a vessel capable of bridging the gap between day boating and longer cruising while maintaining the usability, comfort and performance that characterize the entire AIATA range.

The Sunfinder 38 is designed around maximised open-deck spaces, offering a versatile platform that adapts effortlessly to leisure cruising, social gatherings and family outings. Its layout prioritises practicality and everyday usability, providing owners with a boat that supports a wide range of activities without compromising comfort. More than a compact cruiser, the 38 expresses a lifestyle identity — a way of experiencing the sea that balances freedom, simplicity and modern design. As the gateway to the Sunfinder family, it introduces the brand’s philosophy of offering specific models tailored to different usage profiles, from luxury-oriented configurations to comfort-focused or open-air layouts. The Sunfinder 38 therefore sets the tone for a broader range to follow, each model shaped around distinct client needs while maintaining the same emphasis on space, openness and intelligent functionality.

“From the beginning, we established a clear roadmap for AIATA, focused on product development, market expansion and long-term sustainability,” said Hakan Kefoğlu, General Manager of Anadolu Motor. “The introduction of the Wayfinder 50 demonstrates that we are executing that strategy as planned. In less than two years we have expanded our range, built an international dealer network and strengthened our brand presence across multiple continents. Cannes 2026 is therefore not only an opportunity to present a new boat, but also to showcase the progress AIATA has achieved in a remarkably short period of time.”
