The Sydney Boat Show at the beginning of August is the highlight for Australian sailors and motorboaters.

Ensign Yachts, dealer for BAVARIA YACHTS in Australia for many years, surprised visitors this year with a very special premiere: the first BAVARIA C46 in the southern hemisphere.

Michael Müller, CEO of BAVARIA YACHTS, did not miss the opportunity to travel from Germany to Australia especially for this important event.

Already sold hundreds of times in Europe, the BAVARIA C46 is now celebrating its premiere at the Sydney Boat Show. BAVARIA YACHTS CEO Michael Müller travelled to Sydney especially for this important event together with Yannic Sierck, responsible for sales in the Pacific region at BAVARIA, to officially hand over the BAVARIA C46 to Ensign Yachts and present it to visitors.

"Australia is well known all over the world as a great nation of sailors and water sports enthusiasts and is therefore an important market for the yachting industry. We are therefore delighted to present the BAVARIA C46 together with our partner Ensign Yachts in Sydney. In Europe, we have already experienced several successful premieres with the BAVARIA C46 in recent months and are now looking forward to the feedback from Australian sailors," explains Michael Müller.

The BAVARIA C46 is the latest sailing yacht in the BAVARIA YACHTS C-LINE fleet and is already one of the most successful. She was voted Europe's Yacht of the Year 2024 by a jury of sailing journalists. Toby Hodges from "Yachting World" and a key member of the EYOTY jury explained the triumph of the BAVARIA C46 with its substance: "BAVARIA YACHTS has increased its quality to such an extent that other large shipyards find it difficult to keep up."

The generous space on board the BAVARIA C46 and the proven Made-in-Germany solidity combine perfect sailing performance with a real feel-good factor on board. These characteristics are made possible by the characteristic Chines and BAVARIA the V-bow, which already realised outstanding sailing characteristics in the previous development of the BAVARIA C38 and C42 and created incomparable space in the cabins.

The new rig-sail concept of the BAVARIA C46 further optimises the pure pleasure of sailing, whether single-handed or with a sporty crew, because the versatile BAVARIA C46 also offers convincing solutions for every requirement in terms of deck layout. At the same time, the BAVARIA C46 is an elegant and chic yacht, as owners and journalists have repeatedly confirmed.

After the Sydney Boat Show, Michael Müller and Yannic Sierck will be travelling straight on to New Zealand to visit Busfield Marine Brokers in Auckland, another important BAVARIA YACHTS base in the region.
