Catana Ocean Class Launch of the new edition

With more than 20 units already launched, the new OCEAN CLASS edition builds on customer feedback to enhance life on board and sailing performance, while concentrating 100% of Catana’s DNA on its true program: circumnavigation and long-distance voyages.

The 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival will be the occasion for the yard to present this new 50-foot OCEAN CLASS² by CATANA.

OCEAN CLASS² – a new Design

Developed in collaboration with the Piaton & Bercault design studio, the interior layout achieves harmony between the different living spaces of the nacelle while creating a new atmosphere — warm, inviting, and enjoyable — with new wood finishes and fabrics.

Every living space has been refined in detail to provide more comfort, space, and functionality everywhere.

A smoother entrance, a space that breathes

The rear sliding glass door has been widened, allowing a seamless transition from outside to inside. The increased opening creates a sense of volume and space as soon as you step aboard.

A smart unit connecting living areas

A new storage unit, extended with a bench seat, creates a direct link between the helm station and the aft cockpit. This feature, inspired by owner feedback, increases connectivity and flow. It also structures movement on board while adding functionality.

A lounge-style saloon

To port, the saloon adopts a design inspired by residential interiors, with deeper, more comfortable seating. The modular table adapts to all uses: berth, coffee table, dining area, or workstation — gaining versatility without sacrificing style.

A more functional and better-equipped galley

The galley is now more practical and better organized:

A salon designed for long passages

The central salon, the true heart of life on board, has become even cozier and more comfortable. It now features a large cocooning lounge seat with a direct view of the chart table, itself redesigned to offer excellent instrument visibility and maintain connection with the rest of the saloon.

The OCEAN CLASS² benefits from new technologies and innovative materials that improve performance and increase payload capacity. Optimized weight management allows more personal belongings to be carried without compromising speed or efficiency — perfectly aligned with its long-distance cruising program.
