Comar Yachts launches in Fiumicino the new C-Cat 65
At 6:00 a.m. this morning, Comar Yachts launched its new flagship, the **C-Cat 65**. The 21-metre-long, 9.20-metre-wide maxi catamaran touched the water, lifted by a crane, fully revealing its lines: sleek, flowing, and gracefully rounded, designed to embody a multihull that is fast, inviting, and impeccably stylish. Its sand-gold hull did not go unnoticed, glowing ever brighter as the sun rose over the shipyard. “It is the result of the work of around fifty people, who dedicated some 40,000 hours over the past two years, along with more than 4,000 hours of project development shared between the Shipyard’s Technical Office, designer Enrico Contreas, the engineering firm Naval Design for structural and hydrodynamic studies, and Amadio & Partners Studio,” explained Massimo Guardigli of Comar Yachts.

“This launch marks an important milestone for the Fiumicino shipyard: the C-Cat 65 is currently the largest sport-cruising catamaran under construction in Italy. And the fact that it is being built in Fiumicino sends a strong signal to other entrepreneurs—an invitation to resume production and restore Fiumicino to its central role in yacht building, in line with its vocation and long-standing tradition.” While the shipyard completes the interior outfitting of this first unit, which will be showcased at the **Cannes Yachting Festival**, the Technical Office is already preparing to begin work on a second hull, destined for the United States.
