Rupert Connor from Luxury Yachts is representing the client, who is a distinguished yacht connoisseur and a former client of Heesen.

Rupert Connor comments: "Returning to Heesen was an easy choice for our client. We know that their high-quality standards and desire to exceed our needs will result in yet another fabulous build. There is no other shipyard in the world where you can sign for a yacht in June and they deliver in ten months a high-quality yacht customized to our needs. Their revised 55m platform offers a 'best in class' layout and engineering platform. Our whole build support team is thrilled to be working with Heesen again”.

Project Venus, currently under construction, is progressing swiftly, with the launch scheduled in January 2025. As part of Heesen's speculative program, this superyacht offers clients an opportunity to acquire a luxurious vessel with shortened delivery times and without compromising on quality.

Collaborating closely with the client and his team, Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture is spearheading the interior design customization, ensuring it perfectly reflects the owner's refined taste and lifestyle.

The construction of Project Venus commenced in November 2022. Its slender steel hull, an iteration of van Oossanen Naval Architects' ultra-efficient FDHF design, was meticulously fabricated at Talsma in Friesland, the Netherlands. Talsma, a trusted partner of Heesen for over a decade, has worked in close collaboration with our engineers to deliver steel hulls that meet our exacting standards. To maintain the highest quality, the fabrication of steel hulls takes place at a separate location to prevent cross-contamination with our aluminium hulls, which are welded at our facility in Oss.

Heesen Yachts' skilled interior craftspeople will soon begin fulfilling the owner's desires for the yacht's interior, ensuring a truly personalized and luxurious experience.

Boasting a voluminous 760 GT enclosed space, Project Venus offers ample room for lavish amenities while remaining small enough to enter the charming ports of the Mediterranean. Venus is a true blue-water motor yacht with exceptional seakeeping abilities that ensures safe cruising even in rough seas. Furthermore, the forward positioning of the stabilizer fins and the solid steel hull contribute to an exceptionally comfortable cruising experience.

Heesen CEO Niels Vaessen expresses his delight with the return of this esteemed client, stating, "The return of a valued client is a testament to the exceptional quality and reliability of our yachts. It reaffirms our commitment to delivering a product that exceeds expectations and meets the highest standards of luxury and performance. The satisfaction and loyalty displayed by returning clients inspire us to continually push the boundaries of innovation and craftsmanship."

The delivery of YN 20655 is scheduled for Q2 2025, marking another milestone for Heesen Yachts in delivering exceptional superyachts to discerning clients.
