Italian Vessels: Classica 37 MT Cheyenne, launched
Thanks to the commercial synergy with ‘Miles 1852’ and ‘Yachts & Trade’, the ‘CLASSICA 37’ was launched: certified ‘GREEN CLASS’ and ‘COMFORT CLASS’, it is the first of the line that will be built in different sizes starting from 20 metres in length.
The yachts, built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, will also be able to obtain ICE CLASS certification. The Shipyard's intention is to build very strong yachts with sufficient autonomy to cope with long voyages. The owner who turns to Italian Vessels is very attentive to safety and seafaring characteristics as well as style.
Drawing on the know-how of the Shipyard, which has built over 200 tugs and workboats, the yachts produced maintain some of these characteristics, especially with regard to safety, equipment and navigation in demanding conditions. To leave nothing to chance, each new project has a very detailed design process, including the model basin test to analyse every aspect of the professionally derived hull.
Specifically, the CLASSICA 37 with its 67,000 litres of diesel and a speed of 15 knots, highlights the Explorer's nature for long cruises. The interiors, adapted to the current comfort requirements of life on board and state-of-the-art entertainment systems, make her liveable 365 days a year. This is why it has been awarded the RINA ‘Comfort Class’ certification.
Designed to be eco-friendly, it meets the most stringent diesel engine emission reduction standards according to the regulations issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), measures that impose a reduction based on six key pollutant evaluation criteria. Engines with Continuous Duty Works configuration, certified IMO III and EPA IV with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhausts were also installed. The hull with silicon antifouling, as well as many other systems installed, have finally allowed RINA ‘Green Class’ certification to be obtained.
