Overmarine Group announces the sale of the Mangusta GranSport 45, also known as “Project Amalfi”. This yacht is the 45-meter model in the Mangusta GranSport fast displacement line, a series of stylish yachts combining high speed performances, long range, and comfort.

The Owner is an experienced yachtsman that has chosen this model to freely explore, using it as a typically Mediterranean yacht, moving quickly from one location to the next, but also enjoying long-range cruises, relying on her outstanding technical features and transoceanic range to reach remote destinations.

He is already a Mangusta Owner and has chosen this brand once more for its values and performances and because he knows a priori that this new yacht too will meet his needs to the fullest.

“When a new Customer joins the Mangusta family, he knows he is going to find exactly what he is looking for” comments Mangusta’s Commercial Director Francesco Frediani. “Many of our Owners have kept choosing us over the years, growing alongside us and, more recently, showing great appreciation for our new lines too, as proven by the sale of 10 Mangusta Oceano and Gransport units in only three years since their presentation”.

Overmarine Group, owned by the Balducci family, has been operating in the yachting industry since the 1950s, producing over 300 yachts, more than 100 of which exceed 30 meters in length. Mangusta is an internationally recognized and widely appreciated brand that keeps evolving in style and technological solutions. Customers stepping into the Mangusta world undoubtedly appreciate these products for their beauty, quality and reliability, but, in addition to that, they also feel that they are members of a family that listens to them, involves them in all steps as their dream is being turned into a magnificent yacht, and where they can find everything they wish for. A family they belong with. An unmatched experience that keeps them coming back to Mangusta and their yachts.

This Owner fell in love with the Mangusta GranSport 45 for her breathtaking design and versatility. Designed by Alberto Mancini, she features a timeless, contemporary, very Italian style. Her pleasant and simple layout can be adapted to different configurations the Owner can choose from, to make sure his taste and lifestyle are flawlessly reflected in all onboard solutions. Design and technology harmoniously combine and integrate to ensure the utmost comfort. The greatest focus is on al fresco areas, but the seamless passage between the interiors and exteriors is equally important. A truly distinctive element is the upper deck, where the central lounge opens up both towards the stern, through large sliding glazed doors, and towards the forward sundeck. Here, a comfortable lounge area faces two spacious sunbeds, at the centre of which stands a Jacuzzi bathtub for up to 7 people.

Another noteworthy feature is the aft beach area. Moving the garage towards the bow has allowed to create a new living area: two terraces rotate from the side bulwarks of the hull and connect with the central platform, resulting in a 75 sq. m area directly in contact with the sea.

The Mangusta GranSport 45’s impressive maximum speed of 26 knots, her transoceanic range (3,500 miles at 11 knots), and her limited draught of 2.2 m (7’ 2”) allowing to cruise in very shallow waters mean that the Owner can freely decide how to use his yacht, depending on his own imagination and creativity.

Delivery is expected in 2020.
