29/07/2024 - 15:38

Rossinavi shipyard delivered M/Y BEL1, born from a fruitful collaboration between the Italian shipyard and Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, who is responsible for the exterior design of the vessel. M/Y BEL1 is Rossinavi’s latest 50-meters superyacht with shaft lines and diesel propulsion. Established designer Enrico Gobbi, Founder of Venice-based practice Team for Design - Enrico Gobbi is responsible for the interior design.

“M/Y BEL1, one of our full displacement aluminum yachts, is finally seeing the sea. In addition to a design inspired by sporty SUV cars, M/Y BEL1 offers an exceptionally large amount of both interior and exterior space in terms of square meters.” explains Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi.

Key construction features include:

The lower deck hosts the four cabins (three double bed and one twin sliding bed). Here there is also the toy storage accesible form inside or outside. This means that the toy storage has a balcony that can be opened, making it easy to use the toys on board.

The enclosed Beach Club enhances intimacy, transforming into a spacious terrace with folding sides that provide access to the toy storage and a custom-opening stern hatch. This versatile space is perfect for enjoying the sea and water sports, with direct access to the nautical toys.

The main deck cockpit offers privacy and is ideal for protected outdoor living, perfect for relaxing outdoors sheltered from the elements. Toward the bow, after passing through the lounge area, there is a dining area that benefits from the sides of the main deck lounge that have opening balconies that offer panoramic views and a unique outdoor experience.

The mezzanine deck, located halfway between the main deck and the upper deck, creates a level for more intimate spaces, offering a cozy and private environment for moments of relaxation.

The upper deck is characterized by an aft veranda area, which includes a dining area protected by sliding glass panels for use in various weather conditions, allowing for year-round dining enjoyment. This area is closely connected to the lounge, which is served by an open bar. On this deck there is also the gym.

The extension of the superstructure allows for a 145-square-meter sundeck, divided into a sunbathing area, shaded seating with a bar, a BBQ area, and a mini pool. Centrally located on the deck is a retractable TV that serves both the bow and stern areas, ensuring entertainment for both the front and rear of the deck. The yacht is equipped with four stabilizer fins for increased stability, ensuring comfortable navigation in all sea conditions.

M/Y BEL1 was developed with the aim of achieving an innovative and original style, characterized by a strong personality. The design maximizes the expansive closed volumes and the usability of open areas. The yacht's high and imposing hull, seamlessly integrated superstructure, and overall soft surfaces create a modern and sleek appearance.

The profile is defined by two large hull openings that bring light into the salon and owner's quarters, contrasting with the linearity of the superstructure. As this is a custom build, great emphasis has been placed on the design of the bow, making it an iconic element of the vessel.

"We are extremely satisfied and proud of this project. Its originality and architectural complexity posed significant challenges, but it also allowed us to express our creativity by inventing new forms without compromising functionality or the enjoyment of life on board.” said Fulvio De Simoni, Founder of Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design.

The interior design is cured by Team For Design - Enrico Gobbi in collaboration with designer Carlo Lionetti.

The interior design key features are:

The design blends warmth, modernity, and luxury, using dark colors (black, gray, taupe) to create an inviting atmosphere that contrasts with the bright blue sea. A gradient from darker to lighter tones enhances visual depth and elegance.
A dramatic staircase in the lobby, made from honeycomb aluminum in a brass color with a backlit panel, serves as an artistic focal point.
The use of brushed American walnut and matte-finished Thai wood provides rich texture and balance. Soft, stitched nappa leather on the walls adds a tactile and warm quality to the interior.

Customized pieces from renowned brands and bespoke items ensure perfect fit and alignment with the aesthetic vision. Special marbles and meticulous design elements enhance the minimalistic yet luxurious feel.
A consistent stylistic thread from interiors to exteriors, complemented by curated art pieces from international artists, including Murano glass works, ensures a seamless and unified look throughout the yacht.
The primary hues of desaturated brown, dark aluminum, greige, and black, with accents of ochre, black, dark blue, and gray, create a dynamic and cohesive visual experience.
