Five reasons why Sialia Yachts stand out from the crowd
As its fully-electric Sialia 45 yacht, currently under construction in Poland, sails ever closer towards completion, Sialia Yachts continues to make waves within the industry. From its advanced propulsion to its recyclable components, to its ultra-high-tech safety options, the Sialia 45, which has recently, for the second time, been selected as a winner in the 2025 Robb Report Best of the Best in Electric Yacht category, exemplifies many of the features which make the luxury manufacturer stand head and shoulders above the rest of the market.
1. Superior Technology and Safety
Sialia Yachts was founded by Stanislav Szadkowski and Tomasz Gackoski in 2017. Ever since, they have united their passion and engineering expertise to create several lines of cutting-edge, high-tech electric yachts which offer unmatched levels of range, performance and silence.
Retaining its status as the sole manufacturer of planning electric boats above 40 feet in the industry (ranging from 40-100 feet), Sialia Yachts’ boats harness AMPROS propulsion with an advanced proprietary ship management system (SMS). The drivetrain’s SMS enables groundbreaking functionality, including extended battery operating parameters, remote monitoring and preventative maintenance.
As fully-electric vessels, the yachts dispense with the need for a conventional engine.
In addition, the yachts benefit from numerous unique safety features. As just one notable example, the vessels’ batteries will discharge in a matter of seconds if water enters the system, preventing any combustion risk.
2. Adaptable Boats, Built to Last
Whatever size is chosen, Sialia Yachts’ highly adaptable yachts are designed to be fully upgradable and can easily integrate future technological advancements.
Alongside their highly durable carbon fiber construction, which offers a lifespan of 50+ years, the yachts can incorporate both new battery technology, or any other type of source we will get in the future. This opens up radical new possibilities for the future of zero-emission boating.
As a result of its reduced battery depreciation curves, Sialia Yachts are expected to hold value far longer than diesel/petrol powered yachts. Thanks to these innovations, Sialia Yachts offer owners an extended lifecycle, positioned even above a sailing yacht.
3. Eco-Friendly by Design
As fully-electric yachts, producing zero emissions during operation in all speeds and conditions, Sialia Yachts also harness recycled materials as part of their construction as standard. Most Sialia Yachts’ components (over 50%) are recyclable, and owners are also offered the option of using natural materials for the yachts’ design.
4. Low Maintenance and Comprehensive Warranty
Owners of Sialia Yachts are also set to enjoy major savings in maintenance costs. With only minimal maintenance required—after 10,000 engine hours or 10 years on the engines—Sialia Yachts also offers a comprehensive warranty of 5 years on the full-electric propulsion system, which can be extended to 10 years for added peace of mind. Future owners would only be required to pay for anti-fouling and zinc, thus majorly reducing costs and the down-time of the yacht
5. Unmatched Performance
The combination of the AMPROS electric propulsion and advanced SMS, combined with its lightweight carbon fiber construction and striking signature Sialia design, result in greater range at higher speeds throughout all of Sialia Yachts’ lines. Their performance remains unbeaten by anything else on the market. Across the board, the optional renewable-diesel range extender is set to further boost the yachts’ globe-trotting capabilities.
Milvio Ricci, Chief Commercial Officer at Sialia Yachts, says: “Through our current models, we have already blown away the limits of what is perceived to be possible for all-electric, silent cruising and continue to innovate our technology behind the scenes. All that is left is for our clients to get on board and experience this for themselves, with that all-important ocean spray in their hair!”
