2023, a successful year for Sunreef Yachts
This year has been incredibly busy and rewarding at the same time for Sunreef Yachts. The shipyard has introduced the new Sunreef Ultima line, received orders for groundbreaking sustainable superyachts and marked a new chapter in its history with a new office opening in Dubai and a new Ras Al Khaimah shipyard. Today, we take a look back at the key moments of what has been a very successful year for Sunreef Yachts.
Sunreef Yachts launched the world's most advanced electric motor yacht in its Gdansk facility in Poland. The luxury catamaran was customized to the owner's exact specifications and uses the latest green tech to reach the highest levels of sustainability and energy efficiency.
Sunreef Yachts was commissioned to build hull number two of the Sunreef 43M Eco superyacht. With a growing interest in large eco-responsible catamarans worldwide, Sunreef Yachts pioneers a sustainable revolution in the superyacht world.
Having taken delivery of his new electric 60 Sunreef Power Eco, Fernando Alonso shared his first impressions from the cruising experience. The Formula 1 legend joined Sunreef's family of ambassadors alongside superstar athlete Rafael Nadal, sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg and professional explorer Mike Horn.
On February 28, Sunreef Yachts officially inaugurated the company's new Dubai office. Numerous VIP's, industry professionals, customers and partners attended a lavish cocktail party celebrating the opening of the office, right before the start of the 2023 Dubai International Boat Show.
With two shipyards in Gdansk, Poland, Sunreef Yachts boasts over 125 000m2 of industrial surface, with an infrastructure fully equipped for inhouse yacht manufacturing. Join the company on a private video tour of the offices, R&D lab, production halls, CNC hall, mast workshop, launching pool, ultramodern paint shop, upholstery workshop, and carpentry. Currently employing 2400 people, the Gdansk facility will see further developments shortly.
Sunreef Yachts is currently developing a 65 000m2 new manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. Already operational, reaching the number of 300 employees and will initially focus on the production of Sunreef Yachts' new ULTIMA range of hybrid catamarans.

Sunreef Yachts reveals the first images of the Sunreef Zero Cat superyacht. Measuring over 90ft the sailing catamaran concept currently developed by the shipyard's R&D department will be able to produce clean hydrogen on board, to provide the most sustainable yachting experience.
Sunreef Yachts catamarans have been among the winners of several international awards. The jury of the German Innovation Awards 2023 voted Sunreef 80 Eco as the best in Excellent Product Design. During the Cannes Yachting Festival, the 80 Sunreef Power Eco received the prestigious World Yachts Trophy. Sunreef 80 Eco won Explorer Awards, Multihull of the Year 2023, Yacht and Aviation Awards as well as DNA Paris. A double victory followed for Sunreef Yachts, as Sunreef 80 Eco was awarded along with 80 Sunreef Power with the Oceanway China Yachts Award. Both the 80 Sunreef Power Eco and Sunreef 80 Eco also received the BLT Award.
