The German shipyard Y Yachts in full swing

The shipyard of YYachts on the Baltic Sea shows currently an impressive picture. Next to the Tripp-90 project of the Custom Division, the construction numbers 10 and 11 are in the outfitting hall. These are two Y7 models, both also with a Tripp Exterior, so that YYachts is currently realising three projects from the US naval architect at the same time. Number 10 will leave the shipyard this summer.

YYachts is also proud to introduce "Celeste"! This latest delivery is a Y7, which sailed through to Palma de Mallorca immediately after her launch. As soon as the marinas there reopen, she will cruise around the Balearic Islands. Her interior is inspired by the first Y7, "Bella", which recently won the Wallpaper Design Award. A quiet, luxurious retreat with a soft minimalist style.

Due to closed borders YYachts has had to break new ground. Instead of being delivered to the yard on a flatbed trailer, the hull of the new Tripp 90 was delivered on a cargo ship from Szczecin in Poland to Greifswald. The reason for this were restrictions in cross-border traffic to Poland and current road closures made sea transport the only option. In the meantime, the Tripp 90, whose hull has been manufactured by YYachts‘ carbon specialist carbon partner, is in the process of being completely outfitted and should be ready by the end of the year. The yacht is being built on behalf of an American customer who wants to use the yacht both for regatta sailing and for worldwide cruising.
