METSTRADE 2016: Chatham unveils Summer 2017 collection

British footwear brand, Chatham, launched its Summer 2017 collection at METSTRADE 2016, showcasing true innovation and British heritage. For the new season, Chatham develops its Aqua Go range for women, as well as a new collection of stylish, technical and durable styles.

Following its success from 2015, Chatham will be introducing its Aqua Go range for women. Designed for active, water-based activities, these high-performance shoes are super lightweight, boasting ultra-grip in wet conditions, and don’t compromise on style. Reef (right) and Tide are the new styles for next season, featuring durable leather upper and shock-absorbing, non-slop and non-marking sole, in a lace-up trainer style.

Chatham’s women’s deck shoe range continues to grow with new additions, including Julie and Rosanna. Julie (left), is a canoe fronted deck shoe with a non-slip, non-marking rubber sole. Made from premium leather, she’s the perfect accessory onshore and offshore, and is available in navy and pink. Also in navy and pink is low fronted boat shoe, Rosanna, designed with padded insock on a rubber sole unit, ensures maximum comfort all day every day.

Following the latest season’s trend for Summer 2017, Compass II G2 (left), features a multitude of colourways sure to make a statement. The block colour trend sees universal colour throughout the sole, upper, eyelets and laces. The moccasin constructed shoe is completed with upgraded leathers which are super soft from the first wear.

Chatham’s premium British deck shoe range for men – Made in Britain – continues its success, now featuring six styles. All in a choice of timeless colourways and all named after British Prime Ministers. Balfour (right) and Pitt are handstitched, made with premium leather and both feature a contrasting upper and sole.

Developing the men’s collection for the new season, Galley and Avery (left) are new to the Men’s Sport range. Galley features a selection of premium leathers to maximise comfort and longevity. The combination of suede and leather facings ensure a classic look. Avery, a new slip on shoe, has contrasting leather collar and side lace, offering the ultimate in comfort with understated style.

Also on display on Chatham’s stand, will be the full summer 2017 collection for children. Featuring the ever popular, deck shoes in an array of bold contrasting colourways, Henry (lace up) and Oliver (Velcro) return to offer a trendy range for kids this summer.
