Following its phenomenal success in Europe, Nautibuoy Marine announced its launching in America this Autumn at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (3 – 7 November 2016) in the AquaZone, alongside newly appointed re-seller, Nautical Ventures.

Clay Builder and Nina Anderson, the entrepreneurial couple – and both former superyacht crew members – behind the product, received global recognition for their innovative design, winning a highly prestigious DAME Award at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam last year. Since then, the couple have secured over 20 prestigious re-sellers in key yachting territories across Europe, as well as signing an agreement with one of the UK’s biggest boatbuilders.

Clay comments, “It has been an incredible first year of trading and the DAME award win was a sign of things to come, as we have gone on to secure excellent re-seller agreements with key marine suppliers in top yachting destinations across Europe. We are very excited for Nautibuoy to debut in America this Autumn at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with one of our first US-based re-sellers, Nautical Ventures. America boasts the biggest leisure boat market in the world, so it is only logical that this is the next step in our growth strategy".

“The Nautibuoy platform was created out of the frustrations we felt whilst working as superyacht crew so we know it solves a lot of issues for crew members as well as being a great addition for large yacht owners and their guests. However, it’s also perfect for smaller boats, as the platforms offer that often-needed extra entertaining space and somewhere different to relax and enjoy the surroundings.”

Launched in the UK in April 2015, Nautibuoy Marine’s inflatable platforms, which feature a patent pending modular air-toggle connection system, have a range of uses – from a highly attractive and luxurious swim and sunbathing platform, to a jet-ski dock or as a sturdy base for carrying out essential maintenance tasks. Hand crafted in Europe from highly durable German PVC, the patent pending ballast system provides incredible stability to the platforms, which can be manually dumped after use to allow easy exit from the water. The Nautibuoy platforms are available in a range of sizes, from 2.5 to 4.5 metres, and the linking possibilities are endless - side to side, end to end, T shaped and L shaped. Inflation times range from 1.5 minutes to 3.5 minutes for the largest size, which weighs 42kg and is easily stowable.
