Started in the 70’s , Tecnoseal now has one of the largest anodes ranges in the world with almost 2000 anodes in standard production and more than 3000 custom manufactured items on customers’ request.

Tecnoseal has been committed for years, to developing environmentally friendly products and at the METSTRADE 2016 Tecnoseal will present a new generation of packaging made by fully recyclable material and a complete range of cadmium-free anodes for salt, brackish and fresh water.

Zinc anodes usually contain a small amount of Cadmium, a heavy metal that is considered highly pollutant. Due to increasing attention to the environment, some authorities in the USA banned  Zinc anodes in commercial harbours and marinas.   An extension to this ban for the leisure boat market is expected in the future.

Today, Tecnoseal can proudly offer totally Cadmium-free Aluminium and Magnesium anodes. Additionally, the lighter weight of these anodes can save fuel and energy in transport and installation. The “Tecnoseal Cadmium free” logo states our commitment to protect the environment.
