After a short summer stop, the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana returns to the forefront of international sailing with three events between September and October, once again consecrating how the Gulf of Follonica is one of the most popular destinations among the major One Design classes of the world.

On the weekend 9-12 September and 23-26 September, the TF35 acrobatic catamarans will make their debut in open water; they are extremely performant boats that will battle it out in the waters of the gulf for the 6th and 7th events of their first circuit. After a throttled start in 2020, due to the international health situation, the new monotype on foils this year is sailing its first season, immediately letting people talk about it for the spectacular nature of the boats.

Seven 35-foot catamarans will compete to compete for the TF35 TROPHY 2021. At the moment, the leadership of the circuit belongs to the Swiss RealTeam, pressed by just one point from compatriot Alinghi. The show will be guaranteed, with the dispute of 4/6 regattas per day, lasting 20/30 minutes, in a few words: pure action! This second part of the season of the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana is not limited to catamarans, but will see a grand finale with the 44 Cup, World Championship of the RC44 class, scheduled from 6 to 10 October.

Nine teams are expected, representing six nations, and with a true Parterre de Roi of professional sailors among the most well-known in the sailing community.
"Hosting events of this competitive level and at the same time being able to contribute to the seasonal adjustment of our territory, attracting important flows in a period of decreasing season makes us so proud." comments the General Manager of Marina di Scarlino, Stefan Neuhaus. "We are already working on a 2022 season that will attract interesting events of international resonance to the territory."

The events are organized by the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana, with the commitment and logistical collaboration of Marina di Scarlino and Scarlino Yacht Service.
Alongside the yacht club, the consolidated presence of Rigoni di Asiago, to give a sweet touch to the welcome of the racers, with an eye always attentive to the environment and the quality and ethics of the products.
