CMC Marine with Codecasa on 43 metre custom yacht Boji
The company’s Stabilis Electra electric fin stabilizers and Dualis Electra thrusters are the choice of another Made in Italy yacht-building excellence. The shipyard in question is Cantieri Navali Codecasa, which with the owner of recently launched 43-metre custom superyacht “Boji” selected CMC Marine products to ensure maximum comfort on board and perfect seakeeping in all conditions.
Cantieri Navali Codecasa, the yacht builder established in Viareggio in 1825, decided to install HS160 fin stabilizers from the Stabilis Electra line and TP90 thrusters from the Dualis Electra line on “Boji”, a magnificent full-custom displacement motoryacht with an overall length of 43 metres, a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The vessel, which has a full load displacement of 440 tonnes and was launched at the end of May, can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The HS160 model Stabilis Electra fins are designed for planing yachts with a top speed of over 24 knots. The TP90 thruster is the electric model in the extensive Dualis Electra range, featuring a high thrust to power ratio and an incredibly compact footprint.
CMC Marine demonstrates once again that it is the benchmark for electric stabilization systems thanks to the confidence shown by leading yacht builders in the Tuscan company, which stands out for the extraordinary reliability of its products and the superlative know-how of its engineers and R&D department.
