CMC Marine at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
From October 30 to November 3, the Italian company will be in Fort Lauderdale with the US-based CMC Marine Corporation to present the brand’s innovative control systems and tailor-made solutions for yachts and superyachts to the US market.
CMC Marine, a leader in innovation and in stabilization and control technologies for yachts and superyachts, announces its joint participation in the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) with the US-based CMC Marine Corporation. This year, the company has a strategic new position in the show’s Superyacht Village, where it will be exhibiting two of the company’s most representative products: a STAB 25 model in the Waveless STAB range, featuring the most compact electric stabilization systems currently on the market and designed for boats upwards of 12 meters in length, and a Stabilis Electra unit, the stabilization system for yachts at anchor over 18 meters in length.
The show will also mark the debut of new team member Ben Royston, Sales Manager Refit. With over ten years of experience as an engineer on yachts and superyachts, Ben joins the team after a period of training at the Pisa office. “The addition of Ben to the team is an important step forward in strengthening our presence in the refit business and better serving this constantly growing market,” said Raffa Invrea, CMC Marine Corporation Managing Director.
Interest in CMC’s solutions in the refitting market is growing not only in the superyacht segment but also on the trawler market, as reflected in the constantly growing network of service centers, with eight in the Fort Lauderdale area alone. They were recently joined by All Points Boat, which operates in southern Florida and has over 25 years’ experience in the mega yacht industry.
“This new partnership further strengthens the sales and service network for new builds and refits; our state-of-the-art technology offers attractive solutions in this market too, with reduced installation time and better performance than traditional systems,” continued Invrea, adding that “positive feedback from customers who tested our systems is making the rounds in the industry and opening doors to new opportunities”.
Looking to the future, CMC Marine Corporation is forecasting strong sales growth in 2025, with the prospect of doubling or even tripling the 2024 figure. This result will be driven by a pipeline of firm orders, mainly for new builds and refits.
