Italy celebrates double victory at the ILCA 6 Youth World Championships

Antonio Pascali from Italy was crowned champion in the Youth Men's category, maintaining a leading position throughout the championship. Rem Pulci Magen from Israel secured second place, and the American Jake Homberger claimed the third place.

In the women’s category, Italy claimed gold and bronze with Maria Vittoria Arseni was the overall champion after sailing consistently well all week and Ginevra Caracciolo finishing third. Irish sailor Sienna Wright split the pair by securing second position and also claimed the title of Under-17 World Champion.

In the Men’s division, Francisco Renna from Argentina led from start to finish and won the final race of the championship to take gold, a comfortable distance ahead of closest competitor in second place, fellow Argentinian Juan Pablo Bisio. Brazilian Antonio Cavalcanti Rosa ended the championship in third place. Fellow Brazilian Gustavo Canovas Kiessling was crowned U17 World Champion in the ILCA 6 category.
