Last opportunity to take part in the international sailing video competition

The Mirabaud Sailing Video Award rewards the best sailing videos for the fourth consecutive year. In 2020, the rules are exceptionally modified to adapt to a particular year: the Mirabaud Sailing Video of the Century will reward the best videos produced since 2000. Videos can be submitted until 20 October at midnight.

14 October 2020 - There are only a few days left to enter the Mirabaud Sailing Video of the Century Award. Audiovisual professionals involved in sailing and yacht racing have until midnight on 20 October to submit their best production.

In 2000, the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award has exceptionally updated its rules in order to allow all professionals to participate, even those who were unable to attend any event this year due to the pandemic. This is a unique opportunity to showcase the work they have done over the past two decades, and to collect the best sailing videos produced since the turn of the century.

Rob Peake, Yachts and Yachting Group & Digital Editor and member of the international jury, points out that "at a time when we are all photographers and filmmakers, it is essential to highlight the originality and technical expertise that distinguish the professional from the amateur. It is this difference that really makes us say wow. "

The six members of the Jury will deliberate between 22 October and 2 November, while the public votes will be open from 22 October to 12 November. The first videos submitted are already available online.
