Compotec, The International Exhibition of Composite Materials and Related Technologies, has been the first exhibition in Italy completely dedicated to the composite materials industry. An event still unique on the Italian scene, it was created with the aim of bringing together manufacturers, distributors, industries, universities, research institutes, support organizations from the entire sector. Since 2011, Compotec has been held together with Seatec, the International Exhibition of Technologies, Subcontracting and Design for Boats, Yachts and Ships.

After the forced interruption of last year, Compotec returns with a new name and a new goal: becoming Compotec Marine, focusing exclusively on the marine sector in order to highlight an increasingly close bond with Seatec and with the marine vocation of the Apuan-Versilian district.

CarraraFiere is convinced that this merger will be received with great interest by the industry of the sector bringing better business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. The decision was made following a careful market analysis, keeping in mind the requests of many companies. In this way, exhibitors are given the opportunity to broaden their contacts and reach new users. At the same time, visitors will find a truly unique offer of raw materials and products.

Compotec Marine 2022, which takes place together with Seatec at CarraraFiere, Marina di Carrara on March 17th and 18th will, as usual, host conferences and meetings of technical-scientific contents that have always been a great success and saw the participation of professionals and industries of the sector. For the next edition, the conferences will involve highly interesting issues for the industry, such as "Recycling and Reuse of Materials", "Nautical Design and Disability", "Alternative fuels and eco-sustainable engines", "State Concessions" (in collaboration with Assonat). Top speakers, representing  industry, academia and design will discuss the issues.
