A new type of Flybridge: Filippetti F93

The F93 Filippetti Yacht is a unique flybridge model that combines a high-speed performance with luxurious wide open spaces.

Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, the F93 inaugurates a new type of Flybridge, combining the spaciousness and comfort of its class with more aggressive design and high performance apects that are typically associated with open motoryachts. The result is a fast, sleek, and sophisticated yacht.

MAIN DECK

The salon on the main deck is one of the most comfortable areas of the boat, where a comfortable white leather "L" shaped sofa welcomes guests and provides a clear view of the handcrafted cabinet. Upon entering the salon, one is immediately struck by the modern and sophisticated décor, featuring a mix of finishes in varying shades of gray, with lacquered wood and a special ordered Zebrawood with a striped effect that combines with the neutral tones of the white leather and repeated use of steel. The floor is oak parquet, while the light-toned ceiling is illuminated by bands of LED lights arranged in parallel designed by Cantalupi lighting.

Further along the starboard is the bar area. The uniquely designed bar unit features steel mirror bands alternating with strips of LED lights, surrounded by six white leather bar stools supplied by the exclusive Italian furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau. This area of the F93 can also be customized by the owner to include an additional dining table in lieu of the bar area.

At the bow is the wheelhouse equipped with the finest Simrad instruments and the monitoring system for the entire boat. The dashboard is particularly eye-catching, finished in black leather with contrasting white stitching on both the console and seats that further emphasize the sportiness of the vessel. The wheelhouse roof can be opened, while the external portion of the bow houses a large sundeck, built for the pleasure of cruising, that features a table with a semi-circular sofa and a bimini top.

The cockpit, the perfect place for relaxing or entertaining, is equipped with a large dining table, sofa chairs, and a retractable TV cabinet. From the cockpit, access to the salon is through a retractable glass door that merges the interior and exterior spaces. With this technology, Filippetti has created one large area extending from the wheelhouse to the cockpit offering a unique and multipurpose space.

The F93 features large windows that line each side of the salon and helm that bring bright daylight into the interiors, emphasizing the volume of this generous space. The interior has been glazed in dark grey, a shade that emphasizes the yacht’s sporty character and contrasts with the white metallic hull.

F93 has the ideal mix of hig From the cockpit, the flybridge can be reached through starboard a stairway, while another starboard stairway on the inside of the salon leads to the galley and the crew quarters in the lower deck.

h-speed performance, sporty design, and large open spaces. Thanks to its high performance planing hull, the F93 has a cruising speed of 36 knots, reaching a maximum speed of 41 knots. Its two stunning decks have been designed with aggressive exterior lines that allow for maximum light to flow into the interior.

FLY BRIDGE

Filippetti Yacht has placed a Flybridge with two large open sun pads and a second helm station atop the yacht. On the starboard of the bridge lies the external helm station with a full wet bar area, including a refrigerator, freezer, icemaker and barbecue. On the port is a large sundeck, sheltered from the wind and perfect for relaxing while cruising.

At the aft of the Flybridge is a wide solarium area furnished with four chaises loungers, while at the amidships lies a spacious dining room with a C-shaped sofa surrounding a retractable table.

For this particular vessel and at the owner’s request, Filippetti Yacht has also replaced the traditional Flybridge hardtop with a soft, retractable top to emphasize its sleek and sporty lines. Filippetti has also added a retractable crane for loading and unloading the owner's toys – totally hidden and integrated into the furniture when not in use.

LOWER DECK

Access to the lower deck is through a stylish glass and steel staircase from the main deck behind the pilothouse seats. The interior layout includes four staterooms at the forward lower deck, while the galley and the crew quarter are at the stern lower deck.

Three of the four spacious and luxurious cabins have large queen-size beds and one has two single beds. The large master cabin is amidships and the VIP cabin is located at the bow. The owner of this yacht chose to customize each cabin with subtle nuances through the use of striking colors in the fabrics and main furnishing elements - even the mosaic tiles of the showers incorporate different shades to match the accent colors in each cabin. The large windows, a hallmark of the Filippetti series, allow natural light to fill the interior, a stunning effect also granted by the flush opening port lights that offer a seamless line along the hull. The warm gray shades are continued through the cabins with striped Zebrawood for fixtures and furnishings, and white tone silk carpets and ceilings.

The galley in the stern includes all Miele brand appliances, including Owen, American sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and an induction heat glass stove.

The crew area is accessed through an internal staircase on the main deck. Designed for three people, it includes two cabins, one for the captain and one with bunk beds, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The crew area, offering direct access to the engine room, also houses a laundry room outfitted with a professional Miele washing machine and a vented dryer.

The wide and deep garage at the stern is designed to house both a four-meter tender and a jet ski. The bathing platform has stairs to allow the owner to easily reach the water.

HI-TECH EQUIPMENT

Filippetti Yacht has given great attention to the innovative technology on board. The dashboard is equipped with the latest Simrad instrumentation, while an integrated camera system and a night vision FLIR system ensure maximum visibility during navigation, mooring operations, and facilitating maneuvers.

In collaboration with Naviop, Filippetti has included advanced monitoring control system designed to manage all the lights, the JL audio system, the video equipment and air conditioning from an iPad or Smartphone. In all main areas of the boat are USB sockets to connect mobile devices to the latest generation audio/video systems, all supplied by Creston, an U.S brand that ensures high levels of comfort and quality. All switches are AVE Touch, a touch control system that hides the switch, button, and dimmer behind a crystal plaque, sensitive to the touch.

All the exterior lighting is provided by Cantalupi RGBW LED spotlights, an innovative solution to create powerful color accents, and add amazing effects and ambiance, complete with twelve Seavision underwater lights.

ENGINES AND PROPULSION

In this special version, Filippetti F93 is propelled by Arneson surface drives and 2,638 hp MTU engines, with a maximum speed of 41 knot, a cruising speed of 36 knots, and an official range at 36 knots of 350 nm.

The shipyard also offers a standard version with a shaft line and 1,948 hp MTU engines, with a maximum speed of 31 knots, a cruising speed of 25 knots.

COMFORT

The F93 is equipped with an advanced insulation system. This yacht includes the new Marine Exhaust mufflers that dramatically decrease the amount of noise emitted by the exhaust in the engine room, and a special sound insulating material that is flexible and versatile, applied on several structures to enhance their acoustic performance.

On board, Filippetti Yacht has also placed the innovative Seakeeper stabilization system that tremendously reduces boat roll.

CERTIFICATION

The F93 meets Italian classification registry RINA’s specifications. The RINA – CE class A stands for “OCEAN”. It means that the vessel is largely self-sufficient and designed for extended voyages where conditions may exceed wind force 8 (Beaufort scale) and significant wave heights of 4m and above.
