Two Yachts with interiors by Cristiano Gatto Design Team finalists at WSA

M/Y Amore Mio HEESEN 45m and M/Y Sophie ASTONDOA 110’ Century with interiors designed by Cristiano Gatto Design Team are finalists at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2017. Here it is a short presentation of the two yachts:

M/Y Amore Mio HEESEN 45m

"We designed the interior to be a collection of pleasant experiences from both the visual and functional aspects. Besides the cohesiveness of the overall design, a close look reveals a layer of architectural detailing. We'd love the owner to discover the quality of design living on board: a beautifully expressed junction of wood planks or marble slabs, a delicate pattern of an engraved panel, a perfectly executed stitching, the sense of spaciousness provided by reflective details in polished steel inserted into marble or wood surfaces".

M/Y Sophie ASTONDOA 110’ Century 

"The factory-designed yacht has well proportioned, yet massive volumes with much interior space. The basic colour scheme onboard is simple in order to provide a 'blank canvas' to enhance the purity of the architectural composition. We utilized textures, various woods with grains and contrasting color, coupled to leathers, polished stainless, mirrored glass and various shades of white, beige, brown and black. We included also carbon fibre to manifest Astondoa's vision and commitment towards innovation. By using the same tactile materials both indoor and outdoor we provided the smooth transition the owner desired."
