Today we proudly celebrate 50 years of collaboration between Kubota Corporation and Nanni. For half a century, these two companies have been working hand in hand to offer innovative and reliable solutions in the field of marine engines and generator sets, aimed at a sustainable and environmentally-friendly future.

Kubota, founded in Japan in 1890, is a key player in the field of engineering and industrial machinery. Thanks to its commitment to innovation, quality and customer service, Kubota has earned the trust of professionals. Over the years, Kubota has diversified its activities to meet the needs of its customers while remaining true to its values.

Nanni and Kubota have adapted to technological developments and market needs. Their cooperation has led to the development of a range of propulsion engines from 10 to 140 hp for the marine market, particularly in the sailing segment. This collaboration has also led to the introduction of a range of generators dedicated to yachting and professionals, from 5 to 38 kW.

These developments are driven by the desire of both companies to adopt a concrete vision of sustainable energy transition for their products. The approval of the entire range of engines with the low-emission fuel, HVO, integrated since 2022, is a tangible proof of this.

From a commercial point of view, common objectives include expansion in the sailboat and catamaran market with propulsion engines. Furthermore, in the motor yacht market, the generator range is distinguished by the integration of the “SOUNDLESS” soundproof cabin, offering unrivalled sound comfort.

Nanni and Kubota will continue to innovate and offer cutting-edge solutions. Future developments will aim to offer solutions for the ecological transition, with the introduction of hybrid electrification systems and the integration of lowemission alternative fuels, for a more environmentally-friendly future.
