For this new edition of the Vendée Globe, Nanni is thrilled to unveil its brand-new partnership with the skipper Arnaud Boissières and his IMOCA boat La Mie Câline. Nicknamed “Cali”, Arnaud Boissières is a leading figure in French sailing.

Arnaud Boissières

His passion for the sea was born in the Arcachon bay, where he took his first steps as a sailor, before settling in Les Sables d'Olonne. He is the only skipper to have completed four consecutive Vendée Globe races, a feat that testifies to his tenacity and endurance.

This partnership was an obvious choice for Nanni, who shares the same local origins as the skipper and whose boat is powered by a Nanni N4.38 engine.

Nanni N4.38

The Nanni N4.38 is a compact, high-performance marine engine. With its 38 horsepower, it is ideal for the needs of skippers like Arnaud Boissières, whose main use during the race will be as a generator. Renowned for its robustness and durability, the N4.38 is equipped for safe sailing, with simplified maintenance. In addition, it meets the latest emissions standards, while offering reduced fuel consumption.

For his 5th participation, Arnaud Boissières will be supported by Nanni, as technical partner for his engine during the race. And Nanni will also contribute to the development of a cleaner carbon footprint for his IMOCA in the years to come and for his future races. This partnership is therefore part of a vision of energy transition, supported by Nanni and its innovations, through Arnaud Boissières and his emblematic races.

The Nanni team had the chance to meet him a few days before the start, in the Vendée Globe village, to chat with him and find out more about his boat, the IMOCA La Mie Câline. To discover all the details, here is the video of the interview, where we share the behindthe-scenes story of this collaboration and what it means for the future: https://youtu.be/XOf2lJ_OiGk. We thank you for your support.

And stay tuned for more news to come!

The entire Nanni team wishes Arnaud fair winds and following seas!
