Genoa, 16th November 2021 - The emotions linked with the arrival of Team Urban Value, which at 22.38 of the last night grabbed the success in the first edition of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Veloce, crossing the finish line in Genoa after 8d 8h 27m 23s of navigation, during this afternoon there were the arrivals of Team Softway (Pam Lee-Adreaa Fornaro) and Team Venezia Salone Nautico (Cecilia Zorzi-Alessandro Torresani), respectively second and third classified in this event organized by Difesa Servizi S.p.A., SSI Events with the support of the Marina Militare.

Team Softway, which during the regatta has always maintained its podium position and recovered about 40 miles behind the Zorzi-Torresani crew in the approach to Capo Passero and then completed the overtaking during the ascent of the Tyrrhenian Sea, presented itself at Genoa at 13.39, at the end of a quick downwind navigation between Amalfi and the finish line.

Satisfaction was expressed by Andrea Fornaro who, at the finish line, declared: "I did not imagine that Italy shorelines was so long and full of such beauties: it was a demanding, exhausting regatta but every time we approached the land we managed to recharge, distracted by the beauty of our coasts. It was truly a wonderful experience".

At 15.11 it was the moment of the arrival of Team Venezia Salone Nautico which, protagonist of a first part of the race almost perfect to the point of having crossed the Vieste gate on a par with Team Urban Value, honored the regatta by dueling tightly with Team Softway. Not surprisingly, on the finish line the first phrase of Allessando Torresani concerned the exact time of arrival of the direct opponent and was followed by: "Losing the second position was really a shame, but credit must be given to Pam Lee and Andrea Fornaro for having sailed solidly. It was a beautiful regatta, open and fought, a great experience useful to grow as sailor".

With the first three moored at the Porto Antico of Genoa, the arrival of the rest of the fleet is now awaited. The pack is currently led by Team ENIT (Irene Bezzi - Pietro D'Alì), now close to the island of Ponza traverse and still 275 miles far away from the finish line, about 20 miles ahead of its pursuers.
