The new Tuccoli T295, unveiled as a world premiere at the last Pescare Show in Rimini, is the latest creation from the Tuscan shipyard Tuccoli Marine, which boasts 70 years of experience in the nautical sector.

This model represents the ideal evolution of the leisure fisherman, combining craftsmanship with advanced technical solutions to deliver solid and functional boats, while maintaining the right compromises required by every vessel.

The T295 is built through Tuccoli Advanced Manufacturing Technology (TAMT), a proprietary system that merges artisanal know-how with innovative patented processes.

Available in two main configurations, the T295 addresses different audiences but retains the same construction philosophy: the SF Montecristo version, designed for families and cruising enthusiasts, and the VM Fisherman – Volpi Marco version, developed for demanding anglers in collaboration with multiple world fishing champion Marco Volpi.

Design, Structure and Navigation Safety

The Tuccoli T295 SF Montecristo stands out for its high bow sides, a recessed cockpit that enhances stability and safety, a vertical bow and an elegant sheerline. The walkaround configuration, with wide side decks, guarantees freedom of movement and safety from bow to stern, even when moving quickly.

The hull has been completely redesigned specifically for this model to ensure improved trim and optimal performance even in challenging sea conditions. The V-shaped hull with a progressive deadrise angle contributes to exceptional stability both underway and at anchor, reducing roll. High freeboards, much appreciated by families, provide protection and safety on board, especially for children.

A distinctive feature is the carbon T-top, which reduces overall weight, lowers the center of gravity and limits roll, enhancing onboard comfort. The hard top offers effective sun protection and good interior ventilation, and can be fully enclosed with canvas covers, making it suitable for year-round use.

Cockpit and Foredeck Layout

The walkaround layout provides side decks of about 28 cm, protected by the guardrail, making movement fore and aft safe and convenient.

The cockpit is highly configurable thanks to Tuccoli Modular Deck technology. In the SF version, it includes two small livewells that can form a stern bench with a folding table, ideal for cruising use. The VM version instead offers larger livewells for fishing. Storage lockers are placed beneath the aft seating, while a large underfloor locker – a true “garage” – is accessible from the cockpit.

At the bow, a spacious sundeck creates a private terrace for relaxation at anchor, while large windows illuminate the below-deck cabin.

Engines and Performance

Standard power comes from twin Suzuki DF300AP outboards, providing thrust, responsiveness and precise handling even in rough seas. Designed expressly for outboard propulsion, the T295 delivers optimal performance without compromises.

During sea trials, the T295 showed cruising speeds of 25–26 knots. At 22–23 knots, total fuel consumption is about 65 l/h (approx. 1–1.2 l/nm per engine). At 27.5–28 knots, consumption rises to 90 l/h, while at 32 knots it is around 93 l/h.

Maximum speed recorded was 39–40 knots, with a projected top speed of about 42 knots. Handling is responsive, with tight and controlled turns even at cruising speeds. The hull absorbs wave impacts well, ensuring smooth and vibration-free navigation.

Fuel capacity is 580 litres (2 × 290), with 150 litres of freshwater. Installable power ranges from twin 250 hp to twin 350 hp, or a single 600 hp unit.

Helm Station and Interiors

The helm is ergonomically designed with dual displays (up to 16”) and integrates the proprietary Tuccoli SmartLink system, which manages and monitors all onboard functions. Hydraulic steering is adjustable for both standing and seated driving. Visibility is excellent, with a 360° view.

The interiors of the SF Montecristo offer unexpected comfort for a fisherman. Headroom at the entrance is approx. 1.90 m. Two double cabins (forward and midship) provide generous beds (190×160 cm), natural light and ventilation. The aft cabin serves as a second true double berth. A spacious bathroom includes toilet, sink and shower.

The galley features a gas (or optional induction) stove and a 75-litre fridge. The dinette converts into an additional double berth.

VM Fisherman Version

The VM version, developed with Marco Volpi, is designed for sport fishing. It features a simplified interior with a convertible dinette bed and maximised storage instead of the second cabin.
