Metstrade Expands with Additional Side Events
Metstrade 2025, scheduled from 18-20 November at RAI Amsterdam, will include a series of additional events catering to different segments of the leisure marine industry. These events, organized by Metstrade and industry partners, aim to enhance the experience for attendees from various sectors such as superyachts, coatings, and yacht racing.
The Superyacht Forum, occurring on 17-18 November, will host industry leaders for strategic discussions on topics like digitisation and sustainability. The Boat Builder Awards, on 19 November, will celebrate achievements in boat building at Harbour 8, while the DAME Design Awards on 18 November will recognize excellence in marine equipment design. The Superyacht Coating Conference, from 18-19 November, will focus on developments in superyacht coatings, providing networking opportunities for industry professionals.
The Women in the Marine Industry International Breakfast on 19 November will offer insights and networking for female leaders in the industry. The Marine Impact Lab on 17 November will provide a workshop on sustainability, supported by various industry organizations. The Yacht Racing Forum, on 20-21 November, will discuss the future of yacht racing, and the Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award will showcase top marine photography. According to Tessa Meijer, Exhibition Programme Manager at Metstrade, these events aim to enhance inclusivity and focus on vital parts of the leisure marine industry.
Niels Klarenbeek, Director of Metstrade, highlighted the expansion as a response to the complex needs of the global marine industry. Metstrade is the largest trade exhibition for marine equipment, technology, and services, organized by RAI Amsterdam in cooperation with ICOMIA. In 2024, the show attracted 31,824 visits from 19,779 unique visitors.
