Silent Yachts completes SY62 transatlantic solar-electric voyage

The Silent Yachts SY62 3-Deck Open, named “100%”, has completed a transatlantic crossing, arriving in Antigua after a four-week journey. This voyage highlights the potential of solar-electric propulsion for long-range cruising.

The SY62 3-Deck Open catamaran embarked on its journey from Gibraltar in mid-November, navigating through Morocco, the Canary Islands, and Cape Verde before reaching Antigua.
