Mangusta: third Oceano 52 unit sold, flagship displacement yacht
Overmarine Group has confirmed the sale of the third unit of the Mangusta Oceano 52, just months after the first two were sold. The result confirms the market’s interest in a model that, within the sub-500 GT segment, has established itself through design consistency, strong styling vision and solid technical content.
Flagship of the steel and aluminium displacement range of the Mangusta brand, the 52-metre yacht is the outcome of the joint work between the shipyard’s Engineering Department and designer Alberto Mancini. The project builds on the Mangusta Oceano line heritage, further evolving its principles and expanding its expressive potential.
With an overall length of 52 metres, the model aims to redefine the relationship between dimensions and spatial perception, offering volumes and onboard liveability typically associated with larger yachts. Clean exterior lines, visual continuity between interiors and exteriors and a constant connection with the sea are key elements of the onboard architecture, where the “in & out” lifestyle becomes an integral part of the layout.
The concept “A Deck Above the Rest” encapsulates this design approach, intended to exceed traditional expectations within the sub-500 GT segment through a natural integration of design, functionality and comfort.
The third unit was sold in collaboration with broker Quentin Bourdeau of Pelagia Yachting, based in Port Canto, Cannes. Bourdeau highlighted the overall solidity and coherence of the project, underlining the integration of design, engineering and long-range cruising capability, as well as the cooperation with the Overmarine team throughout the sales process.

Ivan Adzic, Sales Manager of Mangusta, noted that this third consecutive sale confirms the model’s appeal, offering lifestyle, volumes and features generally associated with larger vessels. The yacht has been purchased by European owners who are already Mangusta clients and have chosen to remain within the brand’s range.
From a layout perspective, this new build further enhances the model’s design flexibility. The Main Deck will accommodate two guest cabins forward, while the Upper Deck will feature a fully custom owner’s area: a private suite with full-height glazing, 180-degree panoramic views and direct access to a dedicated terrace with a “Mangusta Signature” infinity pool.
The Lower Deck will host three guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP, designed to ensure comfort and privacy in line with the main areas. This configuration highlights the modular potential of the Mangusta Oceano 52 and a tailored approach that turns each unit into a true one-off, built around the owner’s requirements.
Delivery of the third unit is scheduled for the end of 2028. The yacht will cruise in the Mediterranean and will be used privately.
