Seventh Mangusta Oceano 44 Launched in Pisa
On May 25, Overmarine Group celebrated the launch of the seventh Mangusta Oceano 44 at its Pisa shipyard. The model represents one of the shipyard’s offerings dedicated to long-range cruising.
The Mangusta Oceano 44 is a tri-deck displacement yacht featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The project was developed through a collaboration between Overmarine Group, P.L.A.N.A. Design and designer Alberto Mancini. The yacht was conceived around the concepts of comfort, connection with the surrounding marine environment and the maximization of onboard living spaces. Contemporary exterior lines and extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing define the yacht’s profile, creating a strong visual connection between interior and exterior areas while allowing abundant natural light into the living spaces. The interiors and layout were developed entirely on a bespoke basis by the shipyard’s design team together with the owner. According to Overmarine Group, this approach goes beyond simple customization, with each yacht designed around the specific requirements and lifestyle of its owner.

One of the model’s distinctive features is the beach area aft, conceived as the social hub of life on board. With the transom opened and the side terraces deployed, the area becomes a panoramic platform directly overlooking the sea, offering 180-degree views. From a technical standpoint, the Mangusta Oceano 44 reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and offers a range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots. The yacht is also equipped with electric stabilizers operating both at anchor and underway.
The launch ceremony was attended by the owner, family members, friends, crew and the Overmarine Group workforce involved in the construction of the yacht.
The sale of the seventh Mangusta Oceano 44 was completed in collaboration with the brokerage house Camper & Nicholsons.
