Arcadia Yachts continues its production schedule with the launch of the third A80, less than two weeks after the previous A80 and following the launch of the A96 at the beginning of June. It marks the shipyard’s third launch in under two months and represents another project developed through the Arcadia Bespoke programme, under which each yacht is extensively customised to meet the owner’s specific requirements. This A80 was built for owners who have been loyal to the brand for years and bring extensive cruising experience. The project was developed over the course of a full year through close collaboration between the shipyard, the owners, suppliers and craftsmen, transforming highly specific requests into bespoke solutions while preserving the yacht’s original architecture.

Customisation is immediately evident on the exterior, where the white hull is complemented by the exclusive Azzurro Maine colour, developed exclusively for this yacht. The same shade appears on exterior details, furnishings and throughout the interiors, creating a distinctive and consistent design language. On the Main Deck, the saloon features white parquet flooring, full-height leather wall panels and loose furniture selected from leading Italian design brands. Materials and finishes were developed specifically for this project, including custom leather colours and textures and a unique shade of grey used for the lacquered surfaces. The yacht also incorporates electrically operated doors, a feature more commonly found on significantly larger superyachts.

Particular attention was devoted to the galley, conceived as one of the focal points of life on board. For the owner, a food critic and passionate chef, this area was extensively customised, from the selection of appliances to the functional layout and the laminated glass cabinet doors finished in the distinctive Azzurro Maine colour. The same bespoke approach extends to the owner’s suite, where the bed was commissioned directly from the owner’s trusted craftsman and complemented by Italian designer furniture, handmade carpets inspired by the movement of the sea, original 1960s mirrors and carefully selected works of art.

On the Lower Deck, the same level of attention to detail continues with grey lacquered wall finishes, open-pore white lacquered ash inserts and the extensive use of Bardiglio Nuvolato marble for flooring, wall cladding and monolithic washbasins. Each slab was individually selected and installed to enhance the continuity of its natural veining. Customisation also extends to functional details, including a dedicated flag locker at the helm station and a chart table, elements that reflect a traditional approach to seamanship and the owners’ extensive boating experience.

“Working with owners who know the sea so well is a valuable experience because it allows us to build a relationship based on listening, trust and shared expertise,” said Ugo Pellegrino, Founder & CEO of Arcadia Yachts. “Over the years we have developed a close collaboration that has involved the entire Arcadia team, allowing us to better understand the way they experience life on board. This A80 demonstrates our ability to transform a highly personal vision into a tangible project, refined in every detail while preserving the identity of both the model and the shipyard.”

Measuring 23.98 metres in length, the A80 retains the defining features of the Arcadia range, including the largest Upper Deck in its category, five guest cabins with a full-beam owner’s suite on the Main Deck, expansive opening glazed surfaces, latest-generation solar panels and solutions designed to improve energy efficiency while reducing fuel consumption at the cruising speeds typical of slow yachting.

With this latest launch, Arcadia Yachts once again demonstrates the philosophy behind its Bespoke programme: starting from a production model and transforming it into a yacht built around its owners, while preserving the design identity that defines the shipyard.
