Superyacht Refits and Next-Generation Propulsion among highlights of Metstrade 2026
October 31st is the final day to register for free for the upcoming edition of Metstrade—the world’s leading B2B event for the marine equipment industry—taking place at the RAI Amsterdam from November 17th to 19th. From November 1st onwards, registration will still be possible, but subject to a €90 fee.
Those who haven’t yet registered are encouraged to do so promptly; the three-day Metstrade event serves as a vital opportunity to see the latest innovations in the nautical market firsthand, engage in networking, and pursue professional development—all amidst thousands of products and technologies on display, alongside a packed schedule of events, presentations, and conferences.
The "Superyacht Zone" has been further expanded, in synergy with "The Superyacht Forum" and the return of the "refit clusters." For this edition, the area dedicated to superyachts will occupy halls 7 and 8, connected by an elevated walkway—providing more exhibition space and accommodating a larger flow of visitors. Italy and the Netherlands, the two leading nations in superyacht production, will exhibit together in Hall 7.
Meanwhile, the "Marina & Yard Zone" is moving to Hall 9, bringing it closer to the "Superyacht Zone"—a change long requested by many exhibitors, as well as visiting captains and crew members.

Another area of significant interest is the "refit clusters" section in Hall 7, which focuses on one of the most dynamic segments of the superyacht market. This sector brings together specialized manufacturers, service providers, and experts to showcase solutions for yacht refitting, professional development, maintenance, and the optimization of a vessel’s lifecycle.
As the global fleet grows—and ages—refitting plays an increasingly vital role in driving innovation, sustainability, and long-term value creation; it is estimated that approximately 6,000 large vessels require significant refit and maintenance work each year.
The "Refit Clusters" at MetstradeE will allow captains, yacht managers, and owners' representatives to connect with comprehensive solutions for vessel renewal. Confirmed exhibitors for the 2026 edition include Lürssen, Palumbo, Damen Shipyards Group, and Pendennis.
Sustainability also remains a core focus of the Metstrade program. Beyond being a key topic in various conferences, sustainability will be showcased firsthand in the "Next Gen Zone" located in Hall 13. Here, a group of innovative companies will present ready-to-implement solutions designed to reduce the environmental impact of the marine industry. This will take place as part of the "Next Generation Propulsion Showcase," organized in collaboration with the International Electric Maritime Association (IEMA).
These cutting-edge companies will demonstrate the potential of the next generation of propulsion systems and marine technologies. The "Next Gen Zone" combines innovation, circularity, and sustainability within a dynamic environment, offering visitors a glimpse into the future of marine propulsion while encouraging them to shift their perspectives and contribute to the development of an industry prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. Among the companies participating in this area are Belassi, ePropulsion, Molabo, Remigo, STOK Electric, Transfluid, VEEM, and VULKAN Italy. Each will bring its own wealth of expertise and its own vision for the future of marine propulsion.
