Marinedi Group will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 12-17 September next, to promote its marina network characterised by innovative and high-quality services, serving all boaters in the Mediterranean area.

At the end of a summer season characterised by high occupancy rates, the Marinedi Group has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival as the ideal stage to promote its extensive marina network characterised by excellent services and a strong focus on quality. All guests of the marina network – which covers the Mediterranean area – can count on the same level of services and quality standards guaranteed by being part of Marinedi, according to the "one brand, one standard" philosophy: dedicated services, transparent mooring fees and highly professional and trained personnel.

“Building customer loyalty and continuous service improvement are some of the key factors that have ensured us very significant growth rates over the past five years” says  Renato Marconi, CEO and founder of the Marinedi Group. “Marinedi's characteristic network structure has ensured increases well above the market average across all business lines”.

Indeed, since 2021, demand in the superyacht sector (above 21 metres) has been growing steadily, reversing the trend - albeit positive - that saw an increase in demand mainly concentrated in Italian marinas and with a significant presence of small boats. In 2022, we achieved total occupancy of 48% of berths, broken down as follows: 28% boats up to 10 metres, 44% between 11 and 15 metres,15% between 16 and 20 metres and 13% above 21 metres. “The Group's five-year goal to 2026 is to reach 82% occupancy” says Marconi.

The 15 ports, with the soon to be announced Marina di Salina, in the network cover all the Italian seas, namely the Ligurian, the upper and lower Tyrrhenian, the Ionian and the Adriatic Seas, and are functionally interconnected, satisfying the needs of discerning boaters, from boat care to sailing support.  The Marinedi Group’s future envisages interesting plans to expand the services and potential already present throughout the country, fostering an increase in boating tourism and beyond, continuing to manage port facilities dedicated to boating tourism both directly or jointly with local authorities and private entities.

“Thanks to the many events that the group's various marinas organise and host, both of cultural and sports nature, such as, for example, the Swan Rolex Cup last May - we also aim to promote the surrounding areas, disseminating the culture of the places and the sea” concludes Renato Marconi.
