Monday evening was held the traditional annual evening of the Trophées du Sport Automobile organized by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile at the Mogador Theater in Paris. On this occasion, the Grand Prix de France Innovation Sport Automobile was handed over by Cyril Abiteboul, General Manager Renault Sport Racing, in the presence of the French Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu and the President of the FFSA, Nicolas Deschaux.

After a one-minute pitch in front of the guests, David Barbosa Da Silva, Marketing and Sales Manager of GEORACING, received the award from the French Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu.

What are the benefits of this innovation?
Haven't you ever heard the spectators of a car rally event complaining about the lack of information on the races? Likewise alongside the track of a circuit of several kilometers.

In order to overcome this frustration, GEORACING has developed a technological solution that allows live tracking of cars on internet or on mobile to improve the fan experience.

Thanks to a GPS tracking mobile app installed in the smartphone of the drivers, and which transmits every second the GPS position of the cars, it's possible for fans to follow live the race on an interactive map with many information such as speed, gaps, timings, rankings...

Everything is automated and easy to deploy for the organization. No dedicated equipment needs to be set in the cars. Moreover, the tool allows safety teams to identify possible crashes or breakdowns and to react quickly.
