On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Amsterdam , the annual Boat Builder Awards took place, celebrating the best talents, innovations and commercial achievements in boating.

During this 8th edition, IBI and METS Trade rewarded the Groupe Beneteau for the integration of bio-sourced materials and recyclable resin at scale for our boating manufacturing activities.

This distinction underlines the efforts made by the Groupe Beneteau to design more sustainable boats and contribute to the preservation of our planet.

Indeed, the achievements of the JEANNEAU Sun Fast 30 OD in collaboration with Multiplast, the BENETEAU First 44 or the Mini 6.5 with The Arch Project, designed with a recyclable resin (Elium resin from ARKEMA), are the proof of going towards a more sustainable boating. They will be presented at the Paris boatshow.

As Erwan FAOUCHER, Research and Innovation Director, points out, "this award highlights the exceptional collaborative work of our experts and those of ARKEMA over the past three years. This work also highlights the strong conviction of our management regarding the reduction of our CO2 emissions. The realization of this First is part of a more global policy of sustainability within our group."
