Bering Yachts to build three BC60 Catamarans at Bulgarian Shipyard
Three new orders mark a significant milestone for the Bulgarian shipyard and reflect Bering’s ability to execute complex, multi-vessel projects simultaneously. Thanks to its performance, autonomy, and design flexibility, the BC60 has attracted strong interest from clients worldwide.
BC60: Proven Platform for Global Exploration
The BC60 is a long-range, full-aluminum expedition catamaran engineered for extended cruising in various conditions. With a shallow draft, high fuel capacity, and efficient hull design, the BC60 is well-suited for warm tropical waters and colder northern regions.
Flexible Layouts
Each BC60 offers a versatile interior layout suitable for long-distance cruising. The standard configuration includes:
-4 guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms
-Dedicated crew quarters with independent access
-Expansive salon and galley with panoramic windows
-Forward deck with a spacious area for relaxation and sunbathing
-Spacious flybridge with lounge and helm station
-Large aft cockpit with easy water access
-Generous storage for equipment and supplies
Depending on the owner's preference, the forward guest cabin can optionally be converted into an additional crew cabin.
European Manufacturing, Global Capability
These orders will be executed entirely at Bering Shipyard Bulgaria, which has been fully operational since 2023. The shipyard is located in the EU and positioned on the Black Sea coast. It offers direct access to European supply chains and serves as a strategic base for clients across Europe and beyond.
Key Advantages of Bering Shipyard Bulgaria:
-Full-cycle aluminum and steel yachts and catamarans construction
-Highly skilled team of international engineers and craftsmen
-Modern infrastructure and equipment
-Strong local government support
-Capacity for multiple simultaneous builds, including steel yachts and superyachts
"These three new projects represent an important step forward for our team in Bulgaria," said Aleksei Mikhailov, CEO & Founder of Bering Yachts. "We're proud to see the shipyard growing and taking on increasingly ambitious projects, with strong interest from clients across the globe."
