Capoforte SX200 San Marco debut at the 2026 Genoa International Boat Show
Capoforte SX200 San Marco debut at the 2026 Genoa International Boat Show
The story began with a specific request from Rosario Alcaro, CEO of the Aschenez Group, which also includes the Invictus Yacht and Marcopolo brands. To celebrate the production of the 100th unit of the Capoforte SX200—the starting model in the range, yet one of its most successful—Alcaro wanted to mark this important milestone with a special edition. The result is the Capoforte SX200 San Marco, a tribute to the elegance and atmosphere of Venice, a city whose unique relationship with water makes it a natural setting for the model.
“The Capoforte SX200 has been reinterpreted by designer Roberto Delfanti for the San Marco edition with a very clear objective: to create an exclusive version that goes beyond a simple colour variation, while demonstrating the brand’s ability to express creativity and design even on a smaller scale,” explains Valentina Procopio, Operational Marketing Manager of the Aschenez Group. “The inspiration is Venice. Not simply a city, but a universal symbol where water becomes architecture and elegance, and where every detail reflects centuries of aesthetic refinement and craftsmanship. From this philosophy comes a boat that takes the spirit of San Marco and the visual heritage of Venice as its guiding inspiration, creating an exclusive version that expresses the character of the city through a contemporary language of design, materials and finely considered details.”
The ruby-red hull is the defining feature of the design. Intense and deep, the colour recalls the rich velvet of the «palazzi» overlooking the Grand Canal, conveying character, prestige and exclusivity while making the boat instantly recognisable. The hull below the waterline is entirely finished in black, providing the visual foundation for the overall design. Inspired by the reflections of the lagoon after dark, it creates depth andvisually lightens the boat’s profile, giving the silhouette a clean and contemporary character.
The metalwork is finished in an elegant bronze tone. Moving beyond traditional polished stainless steel, this treatment evokes traditional Venetian metalwork, historic architectural fittings and the detailing found aboard the most prestigious vessels. The finish catches the light with subtlety, creating a refined dialogue between the red hull and the dark interior surfaces.
The same attention to detail extends across the deck. The upholstery has been conceived as an architectural element rather than simply as a functional feature. The skai® backrests provide a clean aesthetic, visual continuity and excellent performance in a marine environment. The seating, upholstered in a high-end fabric, introduces a warmer, more tactile dimension through texture, depth and comfort. The interplay of smooth surfaces and fabrics creates a sophisticated balance inspired by contemporary interior design and the world of custom yachting.
The helm console is crafted in Hi-Macs® with a black marble-effect finish. This high-performance engineered surface captures the elegance of natural stone while delivering the qualities required in marine environment: resistance, seamlessness, hygiene and long-term durability. The reference to the marble used throughout Venetian architecture is expressed through a clean and contemporary design language.
“Every design choice follows a single principle: to eliminate the superfluous and allow the quality of the materials, proportions and light to take centre stage. Nothing is decorative for the sake of decoration. Every colour, finish and texture contributes to creating a coherent and distinctive identity,” says Valentina Procopio.
The Capoforte SX200 San Marco will make its world debut at the Genoa International Boat Show, taking place from 1 to 6 October 2026, in Hall B, Stand BD5. The stand will also showcase a selection of Capoforte models, including the SX200, SQ240, CX240 Summer Edition and CX280.
Capoforte SX200: a proven success
With 100 units produced, the Capoforte SX200 confirms the success of a model built around one defining principle: versatility.
Both the bow and stern areas can be configured either as sunpads or as living spaces, allowing them to be used independently or combined to create one large, open environment. The offset helm station provides easy, direct access between bow and stern, while leaving space along the side for the grill unit. Generous storage compartments add further practicality to a boat whose distinctive style, exclusive finishes and exuberant performance underline its sporty character.
That sporting character is reinforced by the outboard configuration, with outboard power of up to 150 hp, enabling the SX200 to comfortably exceed 30 knots. A cruising speed of 20 knots provides the ideal balance between comfort and fuel efficiency. Combined with a seaworthy hull designed to safely tackle even more demanding conditions, these performance characteristics deliver a fast, safe and comfortable cruising.
