Dufour presents the ODSea+ hybrid system at Nice Boating Tomorrow
Dufour, a major player in the yachting industry, presents the Dufour 48 ODSea+, the only monohull sailing yacht on display at Nice Boating Tomorrow, which will be held from 19 to 22 March 2026 at the Port of Nice.
Dufour 48 ODSea+: eco-friendly sailing in the spotlight
At this event, Dufour will be showcasing the Dufour 48 in its ODSea+ version, which embodies the new generation of sailing yachts combining performance, comfort and a commitment to more responsible sailing. This technology has been developed and offered for Dufour sailing yachts for three years.
The Dufour 48 ODSea+ stands out for its intelligent energy management system, which includes:
- electric propulsion
- high-capacity storage batteries
- renewable energy production via solar panels and hydrogeneration
- a centralised system optimising energy autonomy on board and sailing performance,
- an optimised thermal generator to ensure autonomy over long distances.
This innovative technology significantly reduces environmental impact while offering a serene, autonomous and high-performance sailing experience.
The ODSea+ motorisation also offers various comforts and advantages:
- reduction in CO2 emissions,
- reduction in noise pollution,
- on-board energy production.
Comfort, design and modularity: a sailing yacht designed for today
True to the brand’s DNA, the Dufour 48 combines
high-performance naval architecture with exterior and interior spaces designed for enjoying the sea to the full. Brightness, modularity, fluid circulation and optimised living spaces make it a sailing yacht that is equally suited to family cruises, outings with friends or sporty sailing.
