Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi announces its participation in the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf, the largest indoor boat show that will be held from January 20 to 28. As one of the most dynamic and expanding Italian shipyards in recent years, FIM will welcome international customers and visitors with the 440 Regina model—a yacht that has already won fans and industry experts at the last Italian and European boat shows.

During the German boat show, FIM will unveil the first details of the 500 Regina, the range's new flagship, which will take center stage in the upcoming yachting season. This marks another significant step in confirming the shipyard's growth trend. Since its foundation, FIM has expanded its range of Regina open walkaround yachts year after year with new models featuring innovative solutions, unmistakable style, and excellent reliability.

"We take great pride in presenting our 440 Regina yacht at BOOT Düsseldorf, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience firsthand the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define FIM," comments Corrado Piccinelli, founder of Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi. "Furthermore, the unveiling of the flagship 500 Regina project anticipates the launch of a yacht that encapsulates the next chapter in our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the high-end yachting industry. This aligns with our development agenda of introducing a new model every year."

In detail, the new flagship of the Regina fleet, which will have its world première during the 24-25 yachting season, best represents the excellent combination of sportiness and elegance typical of FIM. The 500 Regina is, in fact, a bold evolution of the range, featuring refined and amplified lines, cutting-edge performance, and sustainability solutions. It is poised to become a new style icon in the Made in Italy yachting industry. The result of meticulous design, collaborative synergies, and an in-depth engineering study, this yacht is a testament to the skilled craft and high-level materials. At the heart of the project, the unwavering attention to the owners is confirmed: both exterior and interior layouts are crafted for the pursuit of the utmost comfort, versatility, and livability in every situation.

As in all models designed by FIM, the Hard Top is undoubtedly the distinctive feature of the 500 Regina. It is integrated with the windshield and adorned with fixed side windows, ensuring dry and comfortable cruising. Made entirely of carbon fiber (recycled in the paneling), the Hard Top is characterized by structural lightness and underscores the yard's ongoing commitment to eco-sustainability. This commitment includes, among other solutions, installing 3 kW photovoltaic panels, using long-life materials, and recycled fabrics. FIM 440 Regina Presented as a world première at Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, the new 440 Regina enriches the shipyard's range of open walkaround yachts, available in the 470 and 340 models. Boasting a sporty soul and the comfort of a large yacht, the new boat aims to reinforce the hallmarks that have distinguished the shipyard's DNA since its foundation. Designed for dynamic life on board and safe and pleasant navigation, 440 Regina stands out for its transformable external spaces protected by an integrated Hard Top, which can be completely opened at the top thanks to a system with rotating slats.

The Hard Top, in perfect harmony with the stylistic features of the hull, has been designed with automotive references to give a sense of dynamism and lightness. And it is precisely from here that FIM launches an innovative solution: for the first time in the yachting industry, thanks to the technology developed by Recarbon in partnership with CBS, FIM will create superstructures in recycled carbon fiber from the aeronautical sector, in particular, for the covering panels, guaranteeing lightness and, at the same time, recovery of increasingly ecosustainable materials and products. Comfort and liveability on board the FIM 440 are also a priority and are maximized thanks to various movements in the sides, such as the fold-down terraces in the cockpit, the stern lift platform, and a retractable gangway. At the bow, together with the large sundeck, we find an innovative solution that transforms the mooring area into a sofa for a comfortable and additional relaxation area.

The cockpit houses a dining area with two face-to-face sofas and a central table that can be folded down for conversion into a sundeck, large cushions, a kitchen cabinet, and the steering station. The interiors of the FIM 440 Regina stand out for their large spaces with a height of two meters and volumes that guarantee the centrality of natural light to enhance exclusive and contemporary environments best.

The layout includes a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, a bow dinette that can be transformed functionally, two toilets with separate communicating showers, and a master cabin in the stern with surprising height and volumes for a yacht of this size. The versatility of the ambiance is guaranteed by the presence of a foldable wall at the bow, which creates two large cabins, both with private access to the toilet. A two-cabin shot configuration can also be provided: in addition to the aft master cabin, a VIP cabin with a fixed double bed is added in the bow.
